Memphis Mojo Tour: the Best of Memphis

Our tour guide was Memphis Jones. He was excellent! He gave a very intelligent and witty presentation of the spirit of Memphis.

We started our trip to Memphis with the Mojo tour. It was a great way to learn about Memphis music history. Loved our host and busdriver! We all sang and had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this tour to a family with children. We had a short stop at Sun studios which was great for the kids. We plan on doing this again with our extended family.

Memphis Jones was very passionent about his profession and city. Loved his stories and comments. And loved his singing and guitar playing. he involved everyone on the bus. his stories of the city and entertainers from Memphis were great and I learned quite a bit. was a great way to see Memphis and learn how rock and roll started and how it had evolved. great tour and highly recommend.

I took the tour with 2 fellow teachers and even though I am over 20 years older than they are we All enjoyed the tour and learned new information about the music explosion in Memphis. We will use this information to empower our students; explaining that the youth of Memphis and the rock/blues of the musicians aided the cilvil rights movement. Very enjoyable...the time flies by.

What a fantastic tour! Great fun, well paced, and not only did we learn a lot about the social and musical history of Memphis, the brilliant Memphis Jones with his singing and guitar playing made sure we really felt a part of the Memphis community. We'd highly recommend this tour to people of all ages, particularly music lovers.

Hot day, AC less than effective. Driver and musician not well organized on planned route. Had to retrace and back up to hit the sites. Did not seem to truly cover the locations and history of Memphis music.

My daughter and I came to Memphis for a concert and had a day to spend in Memphis. This tour was alot of fun. It gave my daughter new insight into the blues and how the music evolved. The tour guide was very entertaining.

We live in the Chicago land area and go down to Memphis about twice a year. We always take the Mojo Bus Tour because we enjoy it so much. The guide this time was the best ever. We are seldom dissapointed in the talent of the guides but I have to say that this one was exceptional.

When we signed up for the Memphis Moho tour we had no idea that we would learn so much about the music that originated in Memphis. We really enjoyed the tour guide who played the guitar and sang songs. By doing this, we were able to recognize songs and learn a lot about who, when were they were originated and some interesting facts. I have been on many tours in many cities and this one was the most original and most interesting. Everyone in my family learned a lot and had a much richer experience in Memphis. I would strongly recommend this tour

We thoroughly enjoyed the Mojo Tour. Our guide provided a great balance of music and history during our tour. He was friendly to everyone. It was fun to join him with our shakers and tambourines.
