My family enjoyed the tour but had hoped to hear more about some of the african american singers. 90% of the tour was based on the Caucasian singers, we had a chance to tour Graceland and learned a lot about Elvis Presley and then learned the same things on the Mojo Tour. We would love for the tour to be 50/50. |

We took the Memphis Mojo tour with our kids, ages 11 and 15. Our tour guide Jay was funny, insightful, and really knew the history of the tour stops. The tour stops at various spots through town and a lot of what you learn are the not so well known facts, the real gems about the people. This trip is a blast, if you don't enjoy it, you don't have a pulse! |

The tour was well done. The guide was very knowledgeable and fun. He couldn't carry a tune, but it was still a lot of fun. We love hearing about the history of the city and this was real informative. I would've rated it 5 star had I not already done the Sun Studio tour (really great tour) because about 1/3 of the mojo tour was a repeat of the nostalgia we heard at Sun Studio. |

Different, creative, good host/guide. The only negative detail that made the tour a bit uncomfortable was the extreme cold temperature inside the bus; specially since it was a very cloudy and rainy day.
It would also have helped if the stop at Sun Studio had been a bit longer. The place was so packed with visitors that it was practically impossible to even buy a hot cup of chocolate or walk to the bathroom. |

I was on the mojo tour 2010. A young student, with guitar was our guide. I really enjoyed that and recommended it to my friends. This year, Gary was our guide. His enthusiasm and stories really made the trip great. I believe my friends would definitely take the mojo tour again. They are still talking about it. |

This fellow was fantastic. Talented in music as well as a "real people" guide.
He MADE the tour.
I don't know what his plans are after he graduates, but I would hope you could keep him on even if casual.

The tour guide was kind and talented, the bus was retro-cool, and the information provided on the tour was a fascinating overview of Memphis' cultural history. I recommend Memphis Mojo to anyone visiting Memphis. It is a fun and interesting way to get an overview of the downtown/midtown area, and then, if desired, you can decide which sites to return to and explore in more depth on your own time. |

It was great fun, fun to be a tourist in your own town, recommend all to try it. The really cool thing is you can take a cooler and you get to play tamborines!!! Our guide was great and very informative. Normally I am not big on the tourist traps but very happy I took a chance. One thing, you need to put the number on the bus. |

I give this tour 2 very enthusiastic thumbs up. Memphis Jones did an excellent job of entertaining and informing us. My group consisted of 11 hard-to-please women ranging from ages 4 to 76 and everyone had a great time!!!! The bus driver took great care in getting us to each destination in a timely manner. The bus was clean and comfy. Again, I highly recommend this tour. |
