Great tour - Informative - entertaining - fun.

The tour was great. You start off on Beale st., which may be the most musical and fun street in the country, and it only gets better from there. Our guide, Gary, gave us a historically musical tour along with the visual tour of Memphis. He has actually worked with some of the great musicians of Memphis and still s to performs on Beale st. He gave us all the inside stuff on various stars while pointing out where many of them grew up. I highly recommend this tour.

Mojo is a Memphis Must

Backbeat Tour's Memphis Mojo bus tour was an entertaining and enjoyable way to see Memphis. Nancy Apple, our knowledgeable and talented tour guide, serenaded us as we traveled all over Memphis in their vintage tour bus. History and points of interests come alive, whether it was the Civil War's Battle of Memphis or BB King's struggle to make it on Beale Street.

The very best thing we did in Memphis!

Our guide Memphis Jones was so involved into the musical and historical elements of Memphis that he made us feel like were literally driving through that history and music. We enjoyed the restored bus but it was the genuine love of the Memphis musical experience that exuded from our guide that made the tour magic.

This bus tour was so much fun! It traveled throughout Memphis sharing hot spots in Memphis music history. Our tour guide, aptly named Memphis, was phenomenal. He was a great singer and knew all the tidbits of information. I would highly recommend this tour--five stars to Miss Clawdy and her gang!

Brad was great. Funny and quick on his feet. I can't believe the tour was an hour and a half. We were having so much fun that time flew. Will make sure to have all our friends and family that visit do at least one tour!

We enjoyed the bus trip tremendously. We had already visited a number of the sites on the tour, but the stories and songs really tied things together.

Memphis Jones was our guide, he was funny and a very good musician. We had a great time, all five of us. Would like to take the walking tour also.

The history of Memphis music in a nutshell
Sun, Mar 23, 08   2:30 PM memphis2008 Female 30-39 Domestic Tourist(s) Family With Children
My family and I enjoyed the tour very much. We especially liked learning about all of the different types of music that have their roots in Memphis. The tour guide was very interesting and funny! My seven-year-old daughter really loved playing music along with the tour guide. We got to see many neat sites of Memphis that we would not have been able to find on our own. We highly recommend this tour because it is fun for the whole family.

Air conditioner on bus did not work.

It was 99 degrees outside and the air conditioner on the bus did not work. This made for a miserable ride.

Our Group of 7 thoroughly enjoyed the Memphis Mojo Tour. The Tour Guide, Karen Apple was an amazing guide and singer. She was so interesting in her descriptions and she possessed a thorough knowledge of the city's musical history. We will highly recommend this tour to anyone who is in Memphis.
