We really enjoyed our Back Beat Tour. The guide was very talented and we had fun singing and playing with him, but beyond that, his recounting of the Blues and Rock and Roll history in Memphis was very informative and fascinating. He did a great job keeping things moving and made sure we were having a good time.

What a fun way to see Memphis! Wasn't your everyday tour. We learned and saw the "background" history that goes along with the city! Things you would never find on your own! Loved the music and the sing-alongs. Highly recommend to both young and old!

My family (me, my wife and two boys age 5 and 9) took the Mojo tour in June 2012 and had a really fun time. Definitely one of the best tours we have ever taken. The guide (Kathryn) was a great singer and had everyone joining in. She never missed a beat, and not only entertained us but informed us about key sites in Memphis as well as its rich musical history. Would not only recommend taking the tour, but would highly advise against not taking it.

Hot Trip

Our guide was Kaitlyn - and she was amazing. But the promise that you would be on an air-conditioned bus really was just wrong. The bus was extremely hot. The person selling the tickets told us that water was on board, but there was never any offer to pass out the water. We were halfway down in the bus and really couldn't get to the water. I drank my full bottle as soon as I got off the bus. So overall I enjoyed it, but it was very unpleasant due to the heat.

My daughter and I went on the 11:30 tour with our drinks in hand. The tour guide was very informative and a lot of fun, and boy could he sing! The hour and a half flew by and before we knew it, it was already over. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, and actually already have!

A very informative and also high energy tour of the city of Memphis. Our tour guide, Nancy Apple, knew her history of the city and also played the music that influenced the city so much. Country, rockabilly, soul, she knew it all! It was a great way to see the highlights of the city and learn so much. Thanks!

This was an excellent bus tour. The bus was air conditioned and lively. We got to sit and be driven around to see things otherwise we would have not sought out. The guide was a good singer and had so much trivia about the history and places we visited that we never knew or only had heard bits and pieces about previously. I would recommend this tour to anybody wanting to have fun while learning the history of Memphis. Make sure you volunteer to play a tambourine.

My sister and I were in town for the weekend and thought this would be a great way to spend a couple hours. The tour guide, Daniel, was funny and knew what he was describing to us. Really get the group involved.
