A Great Way to See Graceland

| The bus is unique, comfortable, left on time and a great way to travel to Graceland. The highlight of the entire trip might be getting to spend time with "Memphis Jones" who is as talented as he is fun! Overall a wonderful experience and one I would recommend to anyone I know travelling to the area. The only small criticism I might have is that the bus was rather late picking us up at the end of the tour and it was quite cold waiting outside at the pick up point. | ||||||

| The guide on the bus was a talented musician with wonderful stories and information about the places we were seeing, and the driver was patient and careful in dealing with the surrounding (sometimes manic) traffic and driving conditions. The guide obviously enjoyed providing information and interacting with the other passengers, and everyone on the bus enjoyed his presentation, music, and anecdotes. The mix of young and older folks all got into the spirit of the Memphis music scene and everyone sang along with the classic music the guide provided, plus the amount of information he delivered in 90 minutes was incredible - what amazing energy! I highly recommend this tour to anyone, with or without kids and/or "significant other", who is interested in seeing some of the historic musical landmarks and learning a bit about their history. A+ and kudos for the Memphis Mojo Tour. | ||||||

| Great tour. We went to Memphis for my Grandmother's birthday. She's a big Elvis fan. When I bought the tickets online, there is a space to leave a message. I mentioned about Grandma, so they sang "Happy Birthday" and gave a present when we took the tour. She was SO happy with the experience. The stories were great. They made me want to be a super fan. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting more out of their trip. I would definitely repeat this tour and want to try the other tours offerred. They were simply just the best entertainment. | ||||||

| My fiance and I really enjoyed the Mojo Tour!! When I booked the tour, my fiance was very apprehensive and did not really want to go. But about 15 minutes into the tour, I noticed that he was smiling and seemed to really be enjoying himself. He's not a big singer but he and I sang along with the tour guide the entire time. We had a great time together!! We saw historic sites in Memphis that we would otherwise not have seen. It was a great time!! | ||||||

| Nice to get some history of the area. Never knew the underground railroad was right under beale street. and where the interacial line was on Main street. | ||||||

| My wife and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see the local sites, and brief history of the Blues. The musician / guide was informative, witty and quite talented with the guitar. Mr. Jones did a very good job getting everyone to join in with the songs. | ||||||

| This was a wonderful opportunity to see Memphis--Memphis Jones was our tour guide/musician....very entertaining.... had hoped to have the 1959 bus...but that didn't work out.... We only had a short time in Memphis so this worked out great--especially since we did not have a car to see the sites--and we probably would have missed out... | ||||||

| This was my 2nd time to take a group of friends on the Mojo tour. It is a great way to get a feel for the music that has come out of Memphis. Plus it is done in a unique style because the tour guide plays and sings and the tour members can play and sing along. If you want a little more insight into Memphis music and the places where it happens take this tour. | ||||||

| My family of four (2 teenagers) along with two grandmothers took this terrific tour after enjoying lunch at Blues City Cafe. The pickup spot located directly outside Blues City was PERFECT! The age gap rom my oldest family member to youngest was 67 years yet everyone (from oldest to youngest) had the time of their lives. We have lived in the area for 10 years and this tour is one of the best kept secrets in town! Entertaining, educational and packed with civic pride! I will be back with clients and friends on this tour and can't wait to try the others offered by BackBeat. Thank you Memphis Jones! | ||||||

| We were the only two on the bus and had great rapport with the guide after finding out I knew his father. We had great discussions and sing- a-longs. I can't imagine a better event. | ||||||

| I was initially put off by the ticket price, but it was well worth it. We learmed nuch more about memphis and the music scene than we would have otherwise. the tour guide was great, both as a musician and an entertainer. This was truly the highlight of our trip to Memphis! | ||||||

| We had a blast. Memphis Jones is beyond words, but I'll try...hilarious, unbelievably talented (he really needs a record deal...maybe at Sun?) and the best tour guide ever. I learned a lot and even got to play the tambourine! Everybody will love this tour. Can't think of a better way to spend 90 minutes in Memphis. Kathryn Harrison | ||||||
