| We loved Memphis Jones, and his love of Memphis, TN is contagious. We could have spent all day with him ont he tour. I felt like we just scratched the surface. | ||||||

| Hi! I really enjoyed the fact that our tour guide was the same individual that we had for the Hound Dog Tour. The fact that he remembered our faces was great too! It means that you make your "customers" feel remembered. He was very energetic and enthusiastic about the whole tour. I absolutely loved the Hound Dog Tour but this tour needs something. I loved the historical facts about the tour but thought that we would have been able to actually visit the inside of the buildings that we went to. I know that this is not feasible in some regards. I enjoyed the restaraunt that we got to go into (the Nelson Twins were there). Don't get me wrong, the tour was great due to being told about the history of Memphis and actually seeing some interesting things. But, it needed more information as far as how people died (the lady that was found in her apartment) and if the tour could possibly check out the places it would be so much better!! | We expected a little bit more music performance during the tour to give it a five star. It was a little bit too much facts to start with but it improved towards the end with the balance between facts and music. The tour could also been extended with maybe 30 minitues to be able to step out of the bus (leg stretcher) and step into the entrance of the Stax museum and Civil rights museum as well as we did at SUN. -Just to promote the local attractions a little bit more. Unfortunatelly we where only 9 people on the bus (which you can't do anything about) that didn't give that intimate feeling which it could have done if the bus would have been a little bit more crowded. Anyway guide for the trip and concept is excellent. | ||||||

| Hi! Thanks for helping my group and I (the Shoemate's/Munaco) have such a great time! I thought that this tour was very informative. Our tour guide was really great and very encouraging. He told us that we were the best "band" that he has had for a while, it was nice to be encouraged like that!! I definitely would come back for the experience and the fun again! I loved the fact that we got to see the sites of Elvis that I would have had no clue about otherwise. The facts that our tour guide told us and the facts that Sun Records told us were consistent. I definitely felt like this tour was personalized. Thanks for the great time!! Dana | ||||||

| Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about Elvis and was a great musician. He was very friendly and upbeat. It was well worth the cost. Sun Studios was a fabulous component of the tour and coordinated nicely with the excursion. Bus was in great shape and very comfortable on a hot summer day. We liked the way it started and ended on Beale St. We would recommend it to others. Can't think of a thing we would change. | ||||||

| elvis opened for slim whitman?? johnny cash lived here?? elvis lived a block away from bb king as school kids?? so many interesting facts on this tour that most memphians aren't aware of.. great job of storytelling combined with timely music.. very fun experience that more locals should enjoy. | ||||||

| The Backbeat tour is loads of fun. As advertised, a musician travels on the bus providing great entertainment, with rider participation. Be certain to take the tour that stops at Sun Studios, that tour is awesome. It is a fun tour on an air conditioned bus. | ||||||

| The tour guide was fantastic, and even though the stories were great, I would have him sing more! The web-site seems mis-leading. It's as if their is an actual tour of Sun Studios, which we found out. Please be explicit to say it's a STOP AT THE GIFT SHOP. Great tour, I'd do it again. | ||||||

| The guys created a good buzz at the start "forming the band" on board (won't spoil the surprise for what that entails!) - great levels of friendly enthusiasm for that early on a Saturday morning. The tour was brilliant - Alex the guide was very knowledgeable, dug out all sorts of nuggets that you just don't get in the guide books. Accompanied it with relevant songs and really spoke from the heart, not just some bland pre-prepared script. If you're consdidering this tour, it's probably because you're interested in the music of Memphis. Let yourself be guided by guys who are truly passionate about the music of Memphis! | ||||||

| Our guide really got us in the mood for Graceland. He was nice, energetic, and knew a lot of information. The pre-Graceland arrival on the bus could have been longer, perhaps more of a tour of Memphis. But, I'm glad we went with this tour with a little extra umph rather than just picking up a free shuttle. | ||||||

| I figured we would ride around looking at different landmarks, as the description indicated. I didn't know we would have as much fun as we did. We learned a lot more about Memphis than we expected. And, had some fun doing it. We would take this tour again in a heartbeat. | ||||||
