| elvis opened for slim whitman?? johnny cash lived here?? elvis lived a block away from bb king as school kids?? so many interesting facts on this tour that most memphians aren't aware of.. great job of storytelling combined with timely music.. very fun experience that more locals should enjoy. | ||||||

| The Backbeat tour is loads of fun. As advertised, a musician travels on the bus providing great entertainment, with rider participation. Be certain to take the tour that stops at Sun Studios, that tour is awesome. It is a fun tour on an air conditioned bus. | ||||||

| We picked this tour because it sounded fun and it really was You get to sing along plus learn a lot of history about Elvis while doing it. Memphis Jones, the tour guide was excellent.We would go again in a minute. | ||||||

| The tour guide was fantastic, and even though the stories were great, I would have him sing more! The web-site seems mis-leading. It's as if their is an actual tour of Sun Studios, which we found out. Please be explicit to say it's a STOP AT THE GIFT SHOP. Great tour, I'd do it again. | ||||||

| The guys created a good buzz at the start "forming the band" on board (won't spoil the surprise for what that entails!) - great levels of friendly enthusiasm for that early on a Saturday morning. The tour was brilliant - Alex the guide was very knowledgeable, dug out all sorts of nuggets that you just don't get in the guide books. Accompanied it with relevant songs and really spoke from the heart, not just some bland pre-prepared script. If you're consdidering this tour, it's probably because you're interested in the music of Memphis. Let yourself be guided by guys who are truly passionate about the music of Memphis! | ||||||

| Our guide really got us in the mood for Graceland. He was nice, energetic, and knew a lot of information. The pre-Graceland arrival on the bus could have been longer, perhaps more of a tour of Memphis. But, I'm glad we went with this tour with a little extra umph rather than just picking up a free shuttle. | ||||||

| I figured we would ride around looking at different landmarks, as the description indicated. I didn't know we would have as much fun as we did. We learned a lot more about Memphis than we expected. And, had some fun doing it. We would take this tour again in a heartbeat. | ||||||

| We ended up being the only two people on the tour the evning we went. Our tour guide Jake was very entertaining, laid-back and funny. The tour itself showed some neat historic buildings, but the stories told about the different places around downtown weren't that good. I highly recommend the Mojo bus tour to anyone who is looking for a general Memphis tour. I have been on that also when I was in town another time, and it was awesome. | ||||||

| I have been living in Nashville for 5 years, I met up with a group of friends from Michigan and St.Loius. There were 5 adults, 2 kids and all 7 of us had a blast. It was the most expensive activity we had planned, and it was worth every penny (actually it was worth more than they charged). We had so much fun, saw things we would've missed otherwise and learned a ton of interesting (and important) facts. I highly recommend it to anyone going to Memphis. I am gratefull that I had friends visiting because otherwise I would've missed this treasure right in my back yard (well if you consider a 3 hour road trip "right in my back yard"). Go for it, you won't be disappointed! | ||||||

| We took the Memphis Mojo tour with a group of friends. Our group included people from 4 years old to 41, and we all loved every moment! We got amazing music historical detail, an insane amount of laughter, and a perfect trip around Memphis! We (and all the members of our tour) have heartily recommended the tour to everyone we met. Keep up the great work - and say hello to Memphis Jones for us! | ||||||

| We just spent 4 days in Memphis doing all the typical tourist activities, Graceland, Beale Street, Zoo, etc. My wife and I agee that the Backbeat Tour was the best activitity we had over our entire stay. And it is the one activity we would do again when we return to Memphis. We booked online for a Saturday 10:00am Mojo Tour. While the Backbeat web site wasn't very intuitive to use, we eventually got on the Zerve site which made purchasing the tickets easy. Arriving the next morning it turned out I and my family were the only ones ready to go. While I can't believe it is very profitable to run the tours for just three customers we left on time and were made to feel very welcomeand that they were glad to have us aboard. Our tour guide was a young, extermely outgoing guy who seemed to enjoy have just the three of us to speak to. He sang and played guitar with great energy. He had a lot of little tid bits he was able to throw in to the tour and he seems to really enjoy talking about the history of Memphis and it's music. Our guide was very knowledgable, and he delivered the tour with energy and enthusiaism. He even got my daugther to participate a little, even though at age 12 she was very sefl conscience that there was such a small group. Without pushing too hard he kept her and all of us actively engaged during the tour. The Mojo tour includes a stop at Sun Studios and a tour there run by the Sun Studio organization. The Sun Studio portion of the tour was great too, but that part can be scheduled without Backbeat Tours. One thing I really appreciated is that there was little overlap between what we heard on the bus verses on the studio tour. The Backbeat guide pretty much knew everything we were told during the studio tour and rather than repeating it he embellished on the studio information. All in all we had a great time on the tour and we recommend it to anyone traveling to Memphis. | ||||||

| Everyone in our group was very pleased with Mike, he did a great job of using humor and personal stories to make the tour wonderful. The information really lent a special feel to our trip to Memphis. | ||||||

| I was lucky enough to have a personal guided tour around Memphis and the ghostly aspect to it! I would recommend this tour to any individual or group looking to see/hear some of the past stories not in the limelight of Blues or Elvis. Personally I do not believe in ghosts, but I love the idea and I am always interested to test the boundaries and see if the supernatural will make a play to my inner psych. Mike (my tour guide) was very informative, friendly and comical. Take the tour and see what mysteries await you - you may be lucky to see/feel the past catch up with you! | ||||||

| My girlfriend and I went on the ghost tour. It was boring! Maybe it was the guide, he said this was his first week on the tour. I would not recommend this tour. | ||||||
