| I love ghost tours and have been wanting to do the one in my own town. It was more than I could have hoped for. I love the history behind the claims. We had one really creepy thing happen. The guide had just told the story of Mary, the little girl who haunts The Orpheum. When she was finished a horse carriage came down the street and the driver's dog threw his head back and howled the entire way past The Orpheum! It made the hair on the back of my neck stand up! | ||||||

| Our guide was so talented! Very knowledgeable. The idea of the tour on the bus is so awesome! You cover so much in a short period of time, while being entertained & educated. My wife & I are not extroverted people, but we had a BLAST!! We felt comfortable! It was so much fun! Well worth the cost! We had walked around the city earlier that day, but had no idea of what we were actually seeing. | ||||||

| I tried to find out if anyone else had signed up for the tour on the day that the two of us would be in Memphis. I could get no information. It was a Sunday at the end of September. I bought tickets two days in advance. One other couple were on the bus with me and my mom. The guide was wonderful. He was knowledgeable and very entertaining. It would have been better with a bigger crowd, but I still recommend it. | ||||||

| Loved our tour, starting with Memphis Jones, our singing, guitar strumming, joke and information tellin' guide. This tour was specific to music, which is exactly what we wanted. We chose the extended version, which gave our choice of a visit to Sun Recording, or Stax. We chose Stax. Our guide Memphis Jones went with us into the museum to ensure no difficulty with admission. Overall, I would do it again, I enjoyed it so well. | ||||||

| On the trip home we decided this was the thing we liked best about our trip...this bus ride! It was very informative and so much fun! We learned a lot of things about Memphis that we never knew. Learned a lot about Elvis, Johnny Cash and others. It was so interesting. The other passengers were older than my group of 4- forty year olds and they weren't too into the fun like my group was, but oh well. We made our own fun!!!! Having the tambourines and bongos available was the bomb! We couldn't stop laughing and smiling the whole time. Our entertainer really worked well off the crowd and was able to quip back with some good comebacks...he was very funny and a great sport. I'd do this again in a heartbeat. | ||||||

| Our guide was very enthusiastic and seemed to enjoy the city which was appreciated. The tour would have been better with more history of the area included. An extra stop or 2 would have been well received also. I have been on many ghost tours in the past and I enjoy them very much but the ones I like best are the ones heavy on history and ghost stories and stops. | ||||||

| I would highly recommend the HoundDog Tour. They were very accomodating and Memphis Jones the musician on board the bus was very knowledgeable about Elvis and made the trip exciting and fun. The music he performed in between telling us all about unknown facts about Elvis was extremely well done. | ||||||

| We felt that the tour was a bit rushed to get in the songs and give tour information at the same time. It is a unique idea, but we left with many questions about some of the information that was shared but didn't feel there was time to ask the questions. | ||||||

| I traveled from Atlanta, GA to Memphis in September 2009 as part of a 10-day road trip to various destinations. This was my first visit to Memphis, although I had been wanting to go there for years. While planning and researching the Memphis portion of my vacation, I read about the MoJo Tour on the Verve website. Being a lover of all types of music, the description peaked my interest, so I decided to book the tour. I am so happy I did! I had a ball!! Our tour guide, the talented Mr. Memphis Jones, was fun, funny, and very knowledgeable about Memphis' entertainers and music history. The way he related his narratives around his singing and guitar playing was amusing, entertaining, and very enjoyable. I chose the Stax Museum Extended Tour. The museum was wonderful. I'll definitely have to go back. Since it would take hours to take it all in and enjoy all that it had to offer, I understand the time restraints that were placed on that stop. However, Memphis Jones offered a very helpful suggestion on how to see the museum and I'm glad he did. It allowed me to go through the entire museum before we had to leave. I usually don't submit reviews on anything (tours, products, restaurants, etc.), however, I thoroughly enjoyed this tour and wanted to express my pleasure with this experience. I can't stop talking about it. I cannot not say enough good things about Mr. Memphis Jones. I loved him!! I will recommend this tour to everyone I speak with who is planning to go to Memphis. I will definitely take it again the next time I visit Memphis (and there will be a next time). Thank you so much!! | ||||||

| We had a girls weekend in Memphis and we took the backbeat tour with the option into Stax. We had a ball! I recommend the Stax tour, lots of good, interesting information. The bus was rocking the whole time with the musical sounds from our guide as we jammed along. | ||||||
