Graceland Rocks!!!
Sat, May 23  1:00 PM funphyz Female 40-49 Domestic Tourist(s) Family Without Children
My mom is a big Elvis fan. This tour was mainly for her. But, I now have a new appreciation for Elvis! The tour was amazing and Backbeat provided a nice background of what to see and do while we were there. We managed to see the mansion (Backbeat suggested that first), the jets, the cars, the wardrobe, the Army years, Hollywood Elvis, and the list goes on and on. It was a great experience. Mom had a great time and I recommend this tour for anyone visiting Memphis.

Informative, Nice Strolling Pace
Fri, May 22  7:30 PM toranota Female 20-29 Domestic Tourist(s) Couple on a Date
My boyfriend and I were in Memphis for a long weekend, it was the first of two stops we made on a road trip for the long weekend. I have always been fascinated by the ghost stories that haunt towns rich in history and Memphis is one city that I was sure had a few stories in its past -- and therefore some spirtits with "unfinished business." We opted not to take a traditional historical tour of Memphis and went for this ghost tour instead. It was informative, and the guide knew enough of the history of the town (from the Civil War times through the Segregation era) to supplement his stories with known factual information -- believer in ghosts or not. The length of the tour was appropiate, and the pace was leisurely so that our group that varied in age could all enjoy.

Memphis Mojo Tour
Wed, May 20  2:30 PM ANITAMMALOUF Female 50-59 Domestic Tourist(s) Group of Friends
My husband and myself, and 2 of our close friends went on this bus tour. We happened to be the only 4 on the bus!! Our tour guide was excellent. He included us all in the tour, with my girlfriend playing the tamborine, and I then played bongo drums. Our guide sang a bunch of songs and explained various parts of the city. Being a hugh Elvis fan, I found this fascinating. The ninety minutes went very quickly. I would highly recommend this tour.

Not a big Elvis fan but, the tour was fun and very interesting. Those who are real Elvis fans will enjoy the various activities on this tour. All in all it was great fun.

We Learned A Lot
Wed, May 13  2:30 PM queendavis Female 70+ Domestic Tourist(s) Group of Friends
My friends and my husband and myself were visiting from South Carolina. We chose the Mojo tour in an attempt to learn what activities we would like to pursue in Memphis. The tour was educational and entertaining. The guide was a talented musician and something of a comedian. We enjoyed his descriptions of the musical history of Memphis and many musicians.

Different, enthusiastic tour! Great experience.

My husband and I have taken a few other tours in other cities that were all interesting and adequate, but never so much fun as this one. The tour guide never lost his audience as his enthusiasum was contagious. He is also a musician and the tour narrative was both verbal and musical and he incliuded the tour participants in the music. Great entertainment and much information about the city of Memphis- music and history both. Sheryl and Jim Picco, California

I really enjoyed the tour and our guide! We all had a great time. The tour would be even better if all the stories happened a long time ago.

Fun but ...

The Backbeat Bus Tour to Graceland was fun -- a funny musician with good stories -- but it got started late, was shorter than I realized and we were the only 2 people on the bus.

Wonderful Experience

I really had a great time on this tour! I would HIGHLY recommend it to others (which I already have!) and would even take it again with my boyfriend since it was my best friend and I who went on it for her birthday! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and she just made the tour that much more fun! I wont take this tour unless she is the one giving it! Thanks for such a great experience!

The tour guide was funny as well as a good musician. Tour pointed out good Elvis landmarks. It would be a good idea to have an afternoon tour too for those of us who aren't morning people:-) Definitely would recommend this to others!

Gracelands was a let down
Sun, May 3  1:00 PM Bobsan Male 60-69 International Tourist(s) Family Without Children
The Gracelands experience was a real let down as we found it solely interested in extracting as many tourist dollars from us as possible and it didn't really honour the king of rock and roll as we felt it should. To be fair, the weather, which was awful on the day and fact that we had to obtain alternative transport back to Memphis as the Backbeat bus was over half an hour late to pick us up did not add to the enjoyment.

We were made to feel at ease immediately and it felt very natural to sing and clap along and get into the music. Great leader and bus driver.

Graceland
Sat, May 2  1:00 PM Ladycsm Female 50-59 Domestic Tourist(s) Group of Friends
This was a great tour opportunity and value for the money. The bus was fun to ride in and the entertainer singing Elvis songs certainly put us in the mood for Graceland. The singer provided lots of additional tidbits of information on Elvis during the ride also. I would highly recommend this for anyone. It was nice not to have to drive in an unfamiliar city and then dropped right back off at Beale Street where we could continue to party. I would certainly use the Backbeat Tours again.

Backbeat bus service can't be beat!!!
Sun, Apr 26  1:00 PM B2arbara Female 50-59 Domestic Tourist(s) Family Without Children
The minute you step aboard the Backbeat bus, you know this is not your ordinary transport to Graceland. We were greeted by a very talented guitar player and handed tambourines. As we rolled down Beale Street, the music began and for the duration of the trip, we enjoyed our favorite Elvis tunes and listened to the story of Elvis' early days in music. It was the most enjoyable way to get to Graceland. Quite frankly, I was sorry when we arrived and was the very last one off the bus!. We had about three hours to spend at Graceland, which was just the right amount of time to see the property and the shops. Thank you to Backbeat Tours for an excellent tour and a really great time.
