Gary Hardy was funny & had great stories of his personal and the cities music history. Great raport between him & the tour guide. Would recommend actual stops to be able to spend some time at the historic sites.

Our daughter bought this tour for my wife and me (so the Zerve name isn't mine ... its my daughter!). We had a great time. The combo tour guide/musician was excellent, and the history and music were more than we hoped for. In fact, we spent the evening at the Blues City Cafe where he was performing. I've already encouraged others to take the tour.

At first I was doubtful, but as soon as we begin the tour and the owner greeted us and gave us instruments to play while on the tour, we had a GREAT TIME. Even my husband was singing along with our wonderful tour guide and clapping his hands. If you are ever in Memphis, TN, this is a must tour to do. You get educated, sing, play instruments and tour historic sites. The driver was great and our tour guide was funny and he can sing!!!!

Memphis Jones was outstanding.. He made the 2 hr. tour seem like 15 min. Vary talented. This was our second trip to Memphis, the third will include the MoJo Tour again.

Even for the 14 and 11 year olds this was a great drive through history and music! As the parents, we felt like kids too!

Having never been to Memphis before, my husband and I decided to take this tour to learn more about the town and also enjoy some good music. We were NOT disappointed. "Memphis" Jones was our tour guide. He was enthusiastic and passionate about music, shared all sorts of great history about the town and its music, and was a very talented guitar player and singer. We had two hours of great fun and would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a good time.

Memphis Jones was playing and talking all the way, we laughed, sang songs, and learn a few things along the way. Truely an awesome experience... I would Highly recomend this tour.

took the tour and enjoyed it. Gave us an overview of other things to do( tour ideas for ourselves). Got lucky and had Memphis Jones as our musician and tour guide. "if he only had 6 hours" we would have known everything there was to know about Memphis music scene. Ask about mid-town. Well worth the price.

My wife and I enjoyed our afternoon being put in the Memphis mood with its soulful sounds. Our veteran musician tour guide/entertainer treated us to insider stories and sang the tunes that changed the face of the music world at its rock beginnings. Well worth the time and a fine intro to the city.

Memphis Jones was GREAT and had so much KNOWLEDGE. Anyone thinking about touring should definitely go for the 3 hour Big Mojo Tour. We had such a great time and will book again with Back Beat Tours. We love Memphis!
