| I have been on a few "Haunted Tours" in different cities around the south. At this point in time, I expect a little more. Don't get me wrong, we liked our guide and our tour, but wish it had been a little more "special". For one thing, it wasn't a latern lit tour. Your guide really needs some way to have the group keep up with them in the walking parts - some sort of flag or light of some sort would help. I was expecting a little more in the way of involved stories. I think our guide was a little too afraid of ghosts to really get into it. She was nice, but made it feel a little cheesey. The tour also need some cohesiveness...not really a storyline or plot, but something that would hold it all together. We had fun though!! | ||||||

| My daughter (13) and I took the Backbeat Tour on our first trip to Memphis and it was great! It was very informative and we had a fun time. Jake was our gude and he gave us a lot of "on the side" information as well entertained us with wonderful music. I didn't think my daughter liked it too much, but after all we did in Memphis, she said the tour was her favorite. We'd certainly do it again. | ||||||

| Dear Backbeat Where do I start, well I fly out to Memphis last Friday for the weekend and had booked your Mojo tour over the Internet for the Saturday morning as I thought what a great way to see part of Memphis, learn about the history, see the sights, visit sun studio and have a musician singing and telling you about historical facts. Wow, MEMPHIS JONES was and is amazing. He Interacted with people so well, he had so much to tell and I loved it when he would start to tell us something and think of something else and then say we’re go back to that, it’s like there was just so much he wanted us all to know, he is such a great singer and so entertaining, funny and lively. I just wished the tour had been much longer I’d have spent all day on the bus adsorbing Memphis Jones’s talent and knowledge this is one of my most enjoyable memories from my visit, one I will never forget and would so do this tour all over again. I was telling everyone I spoke to in Memphis to take the tour with you and to make sure Memphis Jones was the musician, telling them how much they would love it. | I decided that this tour would be great for me - a HUGE music fan - and my teenage niece. We both had a great time, at the back of the bus, what became known as the "Party Box in the Back"! Memphis Jones was truly a joy to ride along with. He knew his Memphis city history as well as his Memphis music history. That, and he is really talented. We enjoyed every minute, and would definately recommend this tour to anyone looking to have a good time while seeing some historical sights of Memphis! | ||||||

| Great way to get a little Memphis flavor. Memphis Jones was very entertaining. He had a lot of tales of how R&B took hold in town and delivered that story with much enthusiasm. Do not miss this tour, most fun in Memphis. | ||||||

| Thoroughly enjoyed Memphis Jones, his enthusiasm, knowledge and muscial ability made this tour the best we have ever been on and we have traveled the world! We took it at 10:00 am and by 10:05 the bus was roaring! His recommendation to tour the Stax Museum was right on, we immediately left and went and what a day we had in Memphis. | the guide was animated and fun and had a great deal of patience with a drunk female in the group, who insisted on interrupting him i felt our group (i think there were 20) was a little large to hear well, and had to kind of jockey to get close to the guide he was very well informed and had an excellent sense of humor, quick on his feet the only thing i would change is not having the initial talk in front of the kiosk, as there is a loudspeaker there that plays music from inside the club; we could not hear a word he was saying | ||||||

| when I suggested that we sign up for the tour as part of our girls weekend trip, which we take every Oct.. I had some mixed reviews from one of the girls. She eventually agreed to do it, since the rest of the group thought that it was a good idea. I was worried because when your in charge of putting a weekend like this together, you want everyone to have a really good time. As we started the tour, we could tell right away that it was going to be a good tour. Our tour guide was wonderful. I apologize that I can't remember his name. He was fun, informative, and the tour was very interesting. When we got off the bus, the girl who was reluctant to do the tour (Cathy) gave me the biggest hug and thanked me for booking it. She said that the tour was the highlight of the trip. We will be suggesting the tour to all who visits Memphis. We all can't wait to bring our husbands down to do the tour again. Thank you so much for a wonderful time. | ||||||

| Overall the stories were cute, but group was large and sometimes it was hard to hear. However no consideration was given to senior citizens with difficulty keeping up. They flew and I had my mother who has some minor difficulty getting around. Also when we went to basement no consideration was given that 5 people could not come down the steep steps for various health/handicap reasons. A simple version could have been repeated for them as they also paid the $$$$$$$$. Really enjoyed the storyteller from the last location - inhouse chef, he was VERY entertaining. | ||||||

| I thought it was a good tour but I have done better in Alton Ill & St Augustine Florida. I felt it was more like a history tour even thou our guild was entertaining! I like his presentation but felt it was pretty short for the cost. I know Memphis has alot more to offer and felt that it was not included in the tour. With all the civil war history ... many other occurances over the years. The tour felt lacking. | ||||||

| the mojo tour was great. we had an awesome tour guide and got to see the hidden gems of memphis. word to the wise, take the tour when you first get to the city. you'll find all sorts of things to do when you're not on a schedule. | ||||||

| Very good tour. It gives a detailed idea of the interests of Memphis. I would have preferred the Hound Dog Tour, because we were doing an Elvis Presley pilgrimage. | ||||||
