mojo tours hits the highlights with song

the young man who led the tour was very special. He was musical, warm , friendly, and funny. What really struck us was his incredible knowledge of music history and artisits, as well as song analysis. We were not surprised when he told us he was a Music Major in college. For that reason , this tour was on a higher level.
One comment-i almost fainted from heat exhaustion-and i am normal weight and well. Please get new buses with air conditioning! |

Jake Fly was a highly entertaining guide. He involved everyone and not only was this a musical trip but also a highly informative tour of downtown Memphis - we loved every minute - highly reccommended. The only way it could have been better was if we would have stopped at Stax Museum and not just drove by. Well Done Jake |

I took this bus tour along with my 16 yr old daughter. We really enjoyed it. The leader of the tour is very talented and sang music from all the musicians discussed on the tour. Insturments were passed out before the bus left so that almost everyone could join in with the music and shake or play their insturment to the beat! We really had a great time and it gave us an oppurtunity to see breifly some attractions that we were visiting later in our stay. If you have the time, you should take the time and ride the MOJO bus! |

I really enjoyed our tour guide Gerilynn. She was sweet and told the stories. However, I was under the impression was 2 hours not less than 90 minutes it lasted. While it could have been a very cool tour, I was somewhat disappointed. |

We truly enjoyed the mojo tour and learned alot about Memphis. I wish the tour had lasted a little longer. Sometimes felt our guide was rushed. Truly a fun tour! Enjoyed the music. |

I would recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys music and history. The tour was fun and informative. The tour guide kept everything going and really knew what he was talking about. Time flew and the 90 minute tour was over before we knew it. |

The singing and audience participation was good, but there were only about 10 people on the tour and I felt that the guide did not know his facts very well...he had more personal stories about himself than the area. We only went a small area around Beal Street....did not really do a City tour. The guide did not say much about the city....more about himself and who he knew in the music business on Beal Street. I guess I was looking for a city tour that told me about memphis and I did not get it. He did not want to answer questions about anything. We stopped at Sun Records, but only had a 10 minute bathroom stop, no tour. The tour did not cost much, but did not give much information. It was an old school bus, but very clean and nice. We usually take a ton of photos on our city tours. On this one we did not take a single photo. The Cafe where we met, Blue's City Cafe, had great food and nice atmosphere. |

We enjoyed the tour very much. It was a very entertaining, informative way to become familiar with Memphis. We are now aware of more attractions that are available in Memphis. After the tour, we stayed 2 nights with relatives in Memphis, we recommended the the tour to them, I hope they take the tour & recommend it to friends & other family |

Our tour guide was Ping and we enjoyed it very much. I liked the little stories that he told and he did an excellent job.
We realize that there were time constraints, but wish that the tour could have included more interesting/historical spots along the way.

our guide was well informed and very delightful. i also go on ghost hunts so this was exactly how it was advertised. (a ghost tour) the evening was hot and sweaty but the tour lasted just long enough to make it baearable......gave us some facts on memphis that was unknown to me.........................all togethere a very nice tour |
