BLACK CAT TOURS is owned/operated by licensed tour guides and authors Mark Jones & Rebel Sinclair. They are full time professionals who have given Charleston walking, carriage and bus tours for over a decade. Mark & Rebel have dedicated their lives to researching odd history and are NOT students working a summer job.
Rebel is a romantic novelist and paranormal researcher, master storyteller, and has published dozens of articles on Charleston history. Mark is the author of four books about the dark side of Charleston and Southern true crime. Others immitate, but Mark is the only tour guide who specializes in debauchery and sin!
Mark & Rebel met while working for a big-box tour company in 2005. Realizing there was a demand for more in-depth, personalized presentations, they opened Black Cat Tours in 2007. They married in 2010 and live with several cats, most of whom are black.
