| Our entire group agrees that this was by far the best thing we did during our entire Charleston stay! I've taken several ghost tours in other cities and also took one previously with another company in Charleston, and never before have I heard stories presented in such a wonderful, spellbinding way. Rebel is an exceptional guide who opens up new perspectives on the paranormal. I can't recommend it enough--if you take this tour, the only regret you'll have is that it has to end! | ||||||

| The Wicked Charleston tour was a great experience. Mark Jones, our guide, not only provided us with information on the "wicked" history of Charleston, he answered all our questions after the tour. Charleston is his home town and he is eager to tell you all about what he has found through many years of research. If you are looking for a tour of Charleston (Adult only) that will educate and entertain you, this is the one. | ||||||

| Black Cat Tours is not blowing smoke when they say they keep the groups small. When we arrived, our tour guide informed us that we were the only four people scheduled for that evening. While on the tour, we saw other company's groups with upwards of 20+ people. In addition, not allowing children allowed for the tour guide to touch on more adult subjects. It made our experience much more personal and we didn't feel like we were just another group of paid tourists. Rebel explains the possible science behind hauntings, so the tour isn't for everyone, but it gives another view of the phenomena. In addition, she allowed our tour to be two hours and she took us to the jail and a few other places that were not listed. If you are wanting to go on a ghost tour while visiting Charleston, Black Cat is definitely the way to go. | ||||||

| Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable about Charleston history - I loved the intro that he gave regarding how Charleston was settled and what was going on in England at that time - it helped me to understand how Charleston came to be so different fromother American cities. | ||||||

| If you are looking for a more indepth discussion of theories regarding the existence of ghosts and spirits, Rebel is your tour guide. Her stories were entertaining, and I would recommend the tour to anyone. I like the fact that our group size was small and that the guides are also the business's owners. They care very much about their work and it shows. | ||||||

| Mark is an excellent, entertaining story teller with a real knowledge of and interest in Charleston history. Plus, he and Rebel are genuinely nice people. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour. We heard historical information about Charleston that I doubt you'll find on other tours! We also liked the fact that the tour company's owners also conducted the walks. | ||||||

| We spent more than an hour rambling through the streets of Charleston, bumping into the souls of former residents whose tragic lives and deaths still haunt this lovely city. Our guide, Rebel Sinclair, spun fascinating tales of wicked deeds, broken hearts and paranormal sightings that we never doubted were close to her heart. A great way to spend a warm Charleston evening. | ||||||

| We loved the tour guide's information on the things you always wanted to know about Chaleston and were afraid to ask. He was very entertaining, informative, and funny. Just a fabulous story teller who really did his homework to relay the facts of the behind the seens of Charleston's "darker side". You never felt uncomfortable with the content. It is a great activity to do for anyone who wants to know the REAL stories! We would definitely do again. | ||||||

| I'd call this the thinking person's ghost tour. The guide clearly knew her stuff and gave a pleasant tour. Her narrative at the last stop seemed to wander a bit, but otherwise she was great. I'd recommend the tour! | ||||||

| This was not my first Charleston walking tour, but it was definitely the best. I plan to go back for the paranormal/ghost tour this weekend... if there's still room! Small/adult groups are great - they don't take small children and all of their tours have 12 people or less... which is great for someone actually interested in hearing the guide. Mark was great - incredibly educated on Charleston history (he's an author & historian) and catered to our group well. While the tour is long (hour and a half, or may be hour and 45 min), boredom does not enter your mind. And while it's a walking tour, there is plenty of rest/story time and you don't feel like your dragging along. I do recommend bringing water if it's warm out! If it's another kind of beverage... make sure you have a lid... no open containers on the streets of Chucktown! :) Thanks Mark - it was great! | ||||||
