my friend and i were visiting from new york and we were so glad we booked it on our first day. in addition to providing an intriguing tour filled with stories of charleston past, rebel provided us with fun insights and knowledge about the city that allowed us to better appreciate our vacation in charleston. such a great city with so much history!

My husband and I had a great time on this tour. Our guide was very informative with bits of history and a couple love stories that stuck with you. The tour is great not only if you enjoy the idea of seeing/hearing ghosts, but also gives a great walking tour of the city. I would definately do it again!

My husband and I went to Charleston over our 25th wedding anniversary. We did the Ghost tour the first night and really liked it. I would recommended it to anyone.

My friends and I did the Haunted Charleston Walking Tour, and it was FANTASTIC! We did the tour with Rebel, who is a very entertaining and gifted Story Teller, she did an amazing job. My friends and I loved every minute of it, we honestly tried sneakily extend it because we enjoyed it so much. We had a great time, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Our guide was awesome! She was a great story teller and you could tell she was really into the history of Charleston. I loved learning the history of the buildings and streets. It really made me appreciate Charleston and see it in a whole new light.

The atmosphere of the dimly lit Charleston streets provided the perfect setting for our tour. Our guide was a great storyteller! Her enthusiasm for the history of Charleston as well as the paranormal made the experience informative and entertaining. We highly recommend this tour!

This was my first downtown tour of Charleston and I must say it was the best so far. My guide was VERY knowledgeable of the history of the area and was a superb storyteller. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone in the Charleston area.

My wife and I love history and it was very interesting to get a glimpse into Charleston life that's not always mentioned in the history books. We loved that this tour was a small operation. It felt more intimate that way.

My daughter and I took the Black Cat Tour on a recent visit to Charleston. We enjoyed the walk very much. Rebel was a great guide and her knowledge and interest made this a wonderful time! It was refreshing to learn some history that you don't normally get from a lot of tour companies.

Fantastic historical event that brings to life what the Holy City was like over the last 300 years especially the time that we can relate to, the last 150 years. Mark was fortunate to have been raised in the area and kind enough to take the time and share the history of this "jewel" with us. I highly recommend spending the time on the streets with Mark, than hitting the great restaurants and bars that bring most of us to Charleston! DPC

I visited Charleston alone in March 2013 while working/pet-sitting in Summerville. Since I could only get to Charleston in the evenings, I decided that a walking tour might be a good way to see some of the sites. This one looked interesting, so I signed up. Mark was a knowledgeable, entertaining and helpful guide. He entertained us with stories of drinking and debauchery throughout Charleston's history. I was captivated by the whole thing. Mark is a good storyteller and seems to be a fun-loving guy all-around. It was a pleasure to meet him and join him on a tour of his city.

After enjoying walking thru the streets and alley's of Charleston with our very interesting and knowledgeable guide, I was glad we signed up. I love hearing about cities when I am on vacation and this tour gives you lots of interesting and thought provoking information... even if not your typical straight up historical version. Our guide was great. You could tell that she loves Charleston and the work that she does. Her enthusiasm made this tour a must in my opinion!

My wife and I and our 13 yr old daughter braved the chilly night for the 90 minute walking tour. Our guide was REBEL and she made every minute of the tour interesting and quite often very thought provoking. She brought up many facts of history that stuck in our minds long after the tour. No, we did not see any ghosts or unexplained sightings. Hower, she verbally painted the picture so well we thought we were actually in the seventeen hundreds in some of the alleys. Rebel is a wealth of historical information and the three of us were glued to her very eloquent style of story telling. We passed another "ghost" tour that consisted of about 25 tourists who were loud and certainly could not have heard their guide. Our tour is limited to 8 people so we did not miss a word or a sight for the full 90 minutes. To further my interest Rebel even gave me info on a book and author to search for to try and answer some of my own questions that I have experienced.
