I was more interested in Haunted Charleston, where she went into secret societies, UFO's , theories of ghostly phenomenon, I wanted to know more about Charleston directly and the hauntings there, she was however very passionate about the subject, I guess I was not as enthusiastic about the variety of subject matter.

This is not your "typical" ghost tour. But if you enjoy history and mystery laced with the supernatural, then this is the tour for you. There's reference to the Masons and the 33rd parallel along with lots of links to Poe. Rebel is a great storyteller and is obviously passionate and well-informed about her subject. We had three teenagers in our group and they continued to talk about some of the stories throughout the week. A fun evening in Charleston!

Rebel and Mark gave insights in the who, what, when and where at each stop along the route. this made the experience much more real and believeable.

We were hoping to hear ghost stories about historic Charleston, but this was much more of a general paranormal tour. She (Rebel) talked a lot about the 33rd parallel and the Masons but didn't really talk about the ghost history of Charleston (for the first hour anyway). Toward the end of the tour she told a couple interesting stories so I have to say it ended better than it started, but we were all pretty disappointed overall. I had my family with me (my husband 54, a daughter 25 and a daughter 15). I would not recommend this to anyone looking for a good ghost tour in Charleston. (Rebel was very nice though)

Rebel gave an excellent tour. She is a passionate story teller that will keep you riveted. Lots of unique info. given here that you likely won't get on your standard tour. If you are looking for a scare or for people to jump out at you this is not it. I'm not sure why people think that's what hanuted/ghost tours are about! You will get a more detailed and intimate account of the way people lived, died and perhaps still roam among us in Charleston...

We were apprehensive about a ghost tour, but this was a very worthwhile evening and a great experience overall. Rebel was knowledgeable and friendly. It was obvious how much she appreciated the history of the city. We would highly recommend and would go on the tour again! It was a great way to start our visit to Charleston.

Very enthusiastic and well informed tour guide. Not the usual "ghost tour." If you are looking for something different this would be the one tour to attend in Charleston.

My husband and I did the free daytime tour and also the Wicked Charleston tour and Mark was great in both! He is a great storyteller and will have you enthralled with history from the get-go. On the Wicked tour, Mark had me on the "edge of my seat" and many times our jaws would drop in shock at what we heard. Yours will too, because truth is always stranger (and more shocking) than fiction. Highly recommended! You will be thinking of what you learned long after your trip.

The Ghost Tour was not scary but rather detailed historical with ghostly aspects, ideas, and theories. I learned so much about the mystical world and Charleston. My sister and I really enjoyed the tour and recommend it to all. There is much walking and standing (90 min) so one should wear comfortable shoes.

Carrie was very informative and kept it very interesting. It was a nice walk and we were able to see different areas of Charleston. I do recommend that you wear comfortable shoes, because alot of walking is involved. We enjoyed if for something different plus we got alot of history and of course some ghost stories. Carrie had obviously researched and knew what she was talking about. She was a very good story teller. I am glad that we chose this tour.

Rebel is a superb guide. She mixes facts of history with an actor's gift for characterization, enthusiasm, and drama. I'm sure she's done the tour a zillion times, but she made it as fresh as if it were her first. We would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys history and entertainment

Rebel was wonderful and very informed. She made the entire evening a true joy. I would go on this tour again if I were in Charleston.
