| Incredible tour. Rebel has done a lot of research and brings a true love of the culture to her tours. Would have liked to see a real ghost, but guess I'll just have to do the tour again some time. | ||||||

| my wife and I love Charleston and have visited a few times now. we always try to squeeze in a ghost tour. the tour was very good but the leader was awesome. I loved her insight and passion. best ghost tour we have had by far. | ||||||

| It was wonderful. We really enjoyed this tour. It was great. Rebel, the tourguide, really enjoys what she's doing and it shows. It was very interesting, informative, and thought provoking. Not too far to walk. I also got some really good pictures. Would definetely recommend this tour to others. | ||||||

| We took this tour based on the recommendations here. My kids (12 and 14) thought it was OK. If you believe in ghosts and paranormal activity, you will really enjoy this. I do not believe in ghosts or paranormal activity, but did find this entertaining. Some stories gave me goosebumps, but it did not make me believe in ghosts. We had a beautiful evening with full moon. Was hoping to be scared, but was not. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we did enjoy this tour. | ||||||

| We took a carriage ride in the morning, and Rebel was our guide. She was so much fun and so full of personality – obviously so knowledgeable with a great love for Charleston (and who can blame her? The city is amazing!) that at the end of the tour when she said she did a ghost tour at night – I called right up and booked 2 tickets! I knew we were going to do a ghost tour anyway so I couldn’t imagine anyone better to do it with. My boyfriend is somewhat of a skeptic but he enjoyed her carriage tour so much that I knew he would enjoy the ghost one too. My best friend, who was with me, said she took a ghost tour with Rebel a couple years ago when she was with a different company and highly recommended Rebel, too. And I just thought it was so adorable that her fiancé did the “adult” walk! I wish we could have done that too, but both tours ran at the same time, and we were only there one night. Oh well. Anyway, we weren’t disappointed! It turns out Rebel is also a paranormal researcher and gave really good explanations of how paranormal activity can occur and why Charleston itself is so haunted – any skeptic would have to think twice after hearing her talk – and I doubt any would completely dismiss the possibility that there’s SOMETHING else going on in this world than what we see with our eyes after a tour with her. But even besides that - she’s a wonderful, engaging storyteller – can answer any question you ask of her about the city’s history or a particular story – she’s just fantastic at what she does. I love supporting people that are brave enough to break off on their own and start their own company, so I felt really good about giving my money to them instead of some huge tour company. I’ll be back the next time I’m in Charleston and would recommend either tour to anyone who asks (not that I’ve been on Mark’s tour, but it sounds really cool, and we met him briefly and he seems like a really interesting guy – I’m sure his tour would be great!)! | ||||||

| Rebel was a great tour guide. Very informative and so very nice. Would definitely recommend this tour to everyone. There are so many ghost tours to chose from. My hotel recommended a different company however, after reviewing brochures, I decided to chose black cat tours because the person who owns the company is the person who does the tour. I knew she would be good because she has her name on the line, not just any person doing the job. She believes in her work and it shows. Thanks, Rebel! My husband and my stay in Charleston was wonderful. You really helped make it that way. | ||||||

| The Haunted Charleston Tour was amazing! Rebel takes pride in her story telling and you can tell that she loves her work! The way she tells the stories it's almost as if she was there when they happened! She is a very passionate person...I thought she was going to cry telling the story of Annabel Lee!
