The Haunted Tour went above and beyond my expectations! We were led by Rebel Sinclair, she was awesome and she loves what she does, which makes it so much better! We heard some great stories about Charleston, which I never have heard before and I'm a local. The places she took us were beautiful and eerie at the same time! She had some very moving stories, that will surely make you shed a tear. I loved this tour and I could have listened to Rebel's stories all night! We are planning on going back to do the Wicked tour with Mark in July, and I am looking foward to it! Really, Everyone trying to plan a ghost tour should choose this one!!!! You will not regret it! By far the best tour in Charleston!!!!!!!!!! Mad props to our guide Rebel Sinclair, we love her!

The Haunted tour was a lot of fun for me and my daughter and her friend from out of state. The guide was fantastic, she told great stories and with a great enthusiasm! I'm going on the wicked tour with the adults in july! I'm excited!

The ghost walk tour created a very nice evening for us. Our guide gave us ample time to ask questions, as well as explore possible explanations for hauntings.

Educational as well as entertaining! After watching the other ghost tour groups, this was by far the best! Rebel has the perfect personality to lead this tour. She made it feel like we were all old friends.

Mark is quite the entertaining story teller but with the facts to back it up! Interesting and intreguing, made me want to go digging in the historical files and his books. The last is the best story of all. Dont forget to bring a drink, its all about the party!

The tour was informative. The tour host was knowledgeable about the content of the tour. I have already recommended this tour to my family and friends.

Rebel, our tour guide, is amazing. she was so committed and knowledgeable. She is the reason this tour was memorable and why i would recommend it to anyone. I was referred by someone else who did her tour and felt the same way about her. She is unbelievable!

I can not express how much I enjoyed the ghost/haunted tour with Rebel SInclair!!!!Her passion and enthusiasm and knowledge for the subject of ghosts, hauntings, and the paranormal and Charleston is incredible! It was easy to see that she is a writer as well. Her stories were vivid and emotional (in telling the story of Anna Lee, she was almost in tears herself). In fact, I bought her novel the next day (and am sorry I could not get it autographed). We saw other tours that were large and seemed very impersonal. Rebel took us to places the other tours seemed to have missed (or sped through) and the tour was longer than the others seemed to be. The tour with Rebel was personal and intimate (there were 4 of us: my son and I and another couple). With a smaller group, we were able to see some "extra" sites and hear more wonderful stories. I would recommend this tour to all my friends who travel to Charleston and want to enjoy a terrific tour and a remarkable tour guide. And how surprised my son and I were to see rebel that evening as she had been our guide on a horse and carriage ride earlier in the week). Thank you, Rebel for a terrific evening!!

This was our first trip to Charleston. We discovered that Charleston is overflowing with history and learning about it from local experts is our preference. I can't think of anyone more qualified to be a Charleston tour guide than Mark Jones. His tour contained information obtained from research, presented in an enjoyable story telling manner. We will tour Charleston again and when we do, it will be with Black Cat Tours.

I have wanted to do a ghost tour for years, so where would be more perfect than Charleston for my first one? I went with my husband and mother-in-law. The nice part about our tour was that there were only 5 of us in the group, though we passed other groups (with other companies) that had much larger numbers. Our guide, Rebel, did a great job. She really knew the history of the city and the stories she told. She was able to answer all of our questions without hesitation. We will definitely recommend this tour in the future.

Without a doubt the best fifteen dollars I spent in Charleston. Mr. Jones is articulate, funny, and has researched the topic exhaustively. I felt so energized after his tour/"lecture", that I was quite motivated to continue reading about the subject.

We are from Columbia, SC and had never taken a tour. Mark did a great job. The tour was interesting with all the facts and funny. I have already recommended the tour to several friends. I will be taking more tours next time I will take them in the Fall.

We really enjoyed this tour. It was very interesting. My teenagers were talking about the stories all weekend!!

I loved this tour! Myself and my partner were extremly lucky as we were the only two who had booked on the tour for the night we were in town so we basicaly had our own private guide. We received many envious stares from other tour groups who we crossed paths with that had 20+ people in them and people struggling to hear their guides. To be honest the othe groups looked bored. But not us. Our guide Rebel was fantastic and I loved the fact she was dressed up and carried a lit lanten which really added to the atmosphere and experience, you almost felt like you were back in the 17 and 1800's. What made Rebel a great guide was that her tour was not just a memorised script, but something she was personally passionate about and that came across in the way she delivered the stories and history of Charleston. There was one dissapointing part of the tour and that was the end,I wish it didn't! we could of kept going all night I was enjoying it that much! Pick this tour you won't be dissapointed, I just wish we had more time in Charleston to do the other tour as well, Wicked Charleston. I guess we will just have to go back :)
