The ghost walk tour created a very nice evening for us. Our guide gave us ample time to ask questions, as well as explore possible explanations for hauntings.

My daughter and I took the Black Cat Tour on a recent visit to Charleston. We enjoyed the walk very much. Rebel was a great guide and her knowledge and interest made this a wonderful time! It was refreshing to learn some history that you don't normally get from a lot of tour companies.

We enjoyed it. But thought it was not that accurate on the info. Could have found more on the internet.

I took my 21 year old godson who was visiting me from England on this tour and he loved it! The stories were really informative and gave you much to think about and Rebel's style absolutely captures your imagination and holds your attention. Being local, I am constantly on the lookout for tours for my visitors and this is one I will absolutely be sending my friends to!

We were tired of all of the civil war history and generic "culture". We did the carriage ride (also recommended) and some other touristy things, but wanted something fun and out of the ordinary. This was just the thing! It is not for the easily offended... but if you can take a joke and are not put off by discussions of prostitutes, murder, and transvestites, it is really entertaining. It's fun to learn some of the less civilized history! The tour guide was great and really got into the evening. (He apparently wrote a couple of books on the subject) There were only 4 people in our group which was nice, and he got more humorous and entertaining as we went on (I think he was feeling us out for signs of offense initially). Would definately recommend!

Cary did a great job! Inspired me to find more about my new city and the ghosts that live here.

We had a wonderful tour guide, very knowledgeable! Was a little disappointed we didn't actually go into any of the buildings or locations. Would definately recommend this tour.

Rebel is a very good story teller. Not only did you learn about the paranormal but also learned a little bit of history of the city as well.

Rebel was an excellent tour guide. She was so knowledgeable and made the tour interesting and fun. We had a group of 10 (company trip) and everyone had a good time. I liked the tour so much that I got a video of Haunted Charleston and a book by her husband at the Old Charleston Ghost Shop. Rebel is a great hostess and can quote at length from many sources. She really knows her stuff. I particularly enjoyed hearing about the Freemason influence and the Occult. As a Witch and Occultist I found her to be very accurate. Thanks Rebel for such a great evening!

Our tour guide was very nice, energetic, and did a fantastic job explaining old historical Charleston. The stories were very informative. He even does free tours on weekends. Had a wonderful time !

An interesting and entertaining tour of "Old Charleston's" wicked side. The history of Charleston that's unknown to anyone who has not taken this walking tour. Our guide was friendly, funny and full of facts.

My 16 year old daughter, my girlfriend, and I took the tour on 07/26/2011. My daughter loved the ghost stories while I loved Rebel's historical knowledge of the area. Rebel is a great tour guide. As the Black Cat website says, she is a professional guide, not a kid working her way through school. I highly recommend the tour. Gerald V.

I really enjoyed hearing about Charleston's darker, bawdier side. Mark is a great storyteller. Don't miss this experience!
