We had a wonderful tour guide, very knowledgeable! Was a little disappointed we didn't actually go into any of the buildings or locations. Would definately recommend this tour.

We had a lovely guide who seemed to enjoy her job. The speil is too scripted and memorized. It was as if she were reading it from a page, except now, having told the same story over and over, remembered it. Also, spoke to fast to understand some of what she was saying.

Rebel is a very good story teller. Not only did you learn about the paranormal but also learned a little bit of history of the city as well.

This was a really fun tour. The guide has lived here all his life and really knows the area and stories. Lots of fun.

After many a trip to beautiful Charleston, this was the first time I had ever taken a walking tour of any kind. I am now a committed believer that the only way to understand the historic city you are visiting is to take a walking tour led by a knowledgeable and dynamic tour guide. You can not go wrong with any of the Black Cat tours offered. The husband and wife team are a shear delight. Dressed in costume, the night tours by lantern light adds to the ambiance and feel of the old Holy City. Both are eloquent speakers and their knowledge of the area and history shine through. The Haunted Charleston tour was much more cerebral than just walking around being told what happened where. Rebel Sinclair makes you think. About life, death, unfulfilled dreams, unfinished business and love. Her passion for the history of the people and the city is genuine - this is not merely a night job. Likewise, husband Mark Jones offers a FREE Battery tour which we took the following morning. Again we were delighted with the unselfish sharing of his knowledge and fresh point of view as he explained in detail the architectural details of the city, the families who built them and the legacy left behind. We were so glad that we picked Black Cat tours over the countless other tour companies available. I hope you do the same. You will not be disappointed.

I was very happy with this tour. We learned lots of information about Charleston and the possibilities of people who may still wander the streets and homes and cemeteries in this area.

I'm a local but learned a few things about the darker and dirtier side of Charleston that I did not know. I would recommend this tour for anyone interested in learning something about the city not found on your usual walking tour.

If you are local and want an awesome thing to do in Charleston, Go on this tour. We went places in Charleston I have never noticed before and our guide was highly educated on many ghost stories here in town. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour and would recommend it to anyone.

The tour was great and you learned so much about Charleston and its history. It's not your typical ghost tour by any means. You walk the old streets and back alleys and learn what really happened so many years ago. The tour guide knows her stuff and connects well with the group. A tour that is a must if visiting Charleston.

After going on a Ghost Tour that was not so great one night during our stay, we decided to try another tour and booked with Black Cat Tours. We are so glad we did! The guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She was an amazing guide! Do not try the other companies-waste of your time and money. This one is the best! I will book another tour with them when I come back to Charleston.

The guide's personal knowledge of the Charleston area and his enthusiasm for some of its more colourful history added to the fun in this tour.

This tour isn't just ghost stories but involves history, secret societies and other info outside the general paranormal

We were there for the weekend and this tour seemed to have the best reviews. It was as good as others we passed by on our own tour. The tour lady was nice but a little odd. I would imagine you would have to be!
