Romantic Sunset Starlight and Full Moon Tour

thought it would be scary, but it wasnt at all. very calming, intimate kayaking tour of the reef with an up close personal guide to give you a feel of some of the tropical fish, starfish, crabs, sea cucumbers etc.. the bioilluminescence of the sea grass looked like fireworks under the water, very cool. highly recommended it to some local friends of ours of the island. it was easy. anyone can do it.

The tour was great and the guide was exteremly knowledgeable! The sunset was awesome and we got to see some great creatures.

I had never been in a Kayak before but this was so easy anyone could do it. Our guide was very experienced, pulling sea life out of the water during the excursion from lobster to Bahama Star fish and varieties of sea cucumbers. Shrimp were seen as two glowing dots (eyes), almost appearing like LED lights on the bottom of the sea floor. Many species of birds in the Mangroves and we were also taken directly into a mangrove which was really awesome. If you've never been in a kayak don't worry-you'll be just fine.

We really enjoyed our kayak with Chad! He was a great guide and wildlife spotter. We kayaked out of the dock and into the bay, where we saw some great sealife with Chad's help, including starfish, sea cucumbers, octopi, shrimp, and more! We went through some beautiful mangroves both in daylight and by flashlight. It was truly enchanting and a highlight of our time in Key West. I'd enthusiastically recommend this ride to anyone!

My wife and I were the only two so we had the pleasure of some real one on one time with our tour guide, James! He is one great guy...smart, funny, easy going, accomadating, and eager to share his knowledge. We have been on many different tours from zip-lining, snorkeling, amphibious planes, cruises, kayaking, etc..etc...this was by far the most fun-filled and interesting of them all. James made learning about the sea-life exciting and interesting. We have already recommended this trip to numerous friends. We will be back in Key West next August and we are already planning on taking this adventure again!

We had a great time. Did not really think it was romantic and the add reads. It was a lot of fun and our guide was very good at showing all kinds of Sea creatures to us.

Chad was very knowledgeable and we were able to see a lot of great birds, fish and other sea creatures. Chad went out of his way to find sea creatures for us. The mangrove swamp was fascinating and moving through it after dark was a unique experience. The bioluminescence was something I had not seen before. Depending on the time of year there will be mosquitos. There were lots when were there. So be sure to get sprayed everywhere. We had lots of bites since we didn't do this.

The guide is very friendly and knowledgeable. Learned much about the Keys and had a great time!

This was an excellent adventure where we felt daring yet safe and secure. Very exciting and informative, experienced things very few people will experience. Got excellent pictures to share and entice others to try this if they ever get to Key West! Our guide worked hard to show us all the environment had to offer.

I enjoyed every minute of my adventure with our guide....and this is my second time I've completed this adventure with Blue Planet Kayak Tours. I plan on doing this again when I'm back in Key West. Keep up the Great Work!!!!
