Romantic Sunset Starlight and Full Moon Tour

My wife and I had done the day trip on a previous trip and wanted our kids to expierence it. When we booked, only a sunset trip was available and we were a little nervous about going out at dusk. We were afraid that we would not get the full expierence. We were so wrong, this was the best trip! It was out of the heat of the day and the kids loved it! They greatly enjoyed spotting and handling the sea creatures and paddling through the mangrove forest with headlamps is a family expierence we will cherish forever!

Chad provided a detailed narration as we paddled through the open water as well as mangroves. He was courteous, knowledgable, and provided a wonderful first experience in a kayak. We especially enjoyed paddling in the dark and seeing the bioluminscent algae. Very peaceful and beautiful way to explore the Keys' waterways.

We made reservations for this trip at the last minute and couldn't be happier that we did! This tour was a great balance of paddling and sightseeing and was an awesome way to watch the sunset. Our guide was knowledgeable and taught us about the wildlife and gave us some hands-on exposure to all kinds of creatures. We got to hold starfish, sea cucumbers, and crabs and we got to see shrimp and a baby shark close up. He adapted the tour based on our wants and curiosities and made sure we had a great time and answered all of our questions. Using headlamps to light the way through the mangroves was amazing -- a bit spooky, but amazing. This tour was the perfect way to get to see and experience more of Key West while giving us a break from the sun. The reservation and meet-up process was easy and they had everything we needed to make the trip easy and enjoyable (i.e., cold water, bug spray, dry bags, an easy way in and out of the kayaks). I would definitely recommend this tour and hope to do it again next time I'm in Key West.
