| Great way to get a different perspective on the mangroves around Key West. Saw lots of interesting sea creatures. You can tell that our guide really loves what he does and wants to teach others. |

| There are several reasons why I can not recommend this tour company and in fact would vehemently discourage anyone from using them.
The trip and the guide were completely unprofessional and unsafe. The tour operator and owner of the business was more concerned with getting his money than the safety and enjoyment of his clients. We asked before we took off if the winds were too strong and he just pooh pooh the idea. That evening there were 25-30 mile an hour winds and several times the gusts were so strong that one had to pull with the branches of the mango trees to keep from being blown backward. He rowed first and had no concern for everyone behind. He never checked to see if we were ok and only went back when others in the group told him someone was having trouble.
He did not go out to help a woman who had never kayaked before and had fallen way behind and was unable to get herself back because of the wind and the darkness. It fell to two of the other guests to make sure that she could get back to the dock. He was busy relieving himself.
We didn't get to see the sunset because he forgot until we reminded him and then he just told us to watch it in the clouds. Because the winds were so strong there was not much marine life, we saw a sponge, some jelly fish, and a sea cucumber in 2 and a half hours.
Finally he has never returned our phone calls, and we feel we are entitled to a full refund. I will do everything in my power, (blogs, calling the chamber of commerce) to let others know NOT to use this tour company. |

| Great way to get to know what is around you in Key West.
Opted for the two person kayek which was useful to chat with your partner as you explore the different areas and follow your guide.
Certainly make sure you keep warm with a few different layers of clothing, ideally, wear some waterproof materials. We got caught with a nearby boat that generated waves that went over the kayek and we got wet, but all apart of the experience.
I would certainly recommend this activity. Enjoy! |

| I really enjoyed kayaking to bird island and then watching the sunset. Then we kayaked to a mangrove island and put on headlamps. It was spooky and fun. The bay we crossed was very shallow so there were few other boats or traffic. When we were in the mangroves we couldn't tell which way was out or see any lights of the roads or bridges around the area. Great fun. |

| The eco-kayak tour was great. I recommend it highly. Chad was very knowledgeable and friendly. It's amazing to see him standing in his kayak looking for creatures on the bottom. |

| My wife and I whole heartedly enjoyed the Blue Planet Kayak Tour. Our guide was extremely enthusiastic and had a great sense of humor. Not only did we experience abundant wildlife (both under the water and in the air), but we learned a lot. I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get a taste of natural Key West. |

| I would recommend this trip to anyone who is interested in nature. It is not overly difficult to paddle the kayak and is lots of fun. You get to see lots of different animals including many different species of birds. The guide was extremely knowledgable and enthusiatic in his finding and sharing information about critters of the sea. He even allows for hands on when appropriate. I say if you are thinking about doing this trip----you should!!!! |

| It was a beautiful moonlite night and the water was calm. We saw some interesting things . The flaw laid with the guide who was very informed and knowledgeable but seemed to be in his own world of information without regard to whether or not anyone could hear him. He did not wait or ask if anyone could hear him or invite questions. He also bad-mouthed the cruise tourists and the capabilities of those people to handle his tours. The tour was not all that it could be unfortunately. |

| We took the night kayaking trip in late October as part of our 6 day stay in Key West. It was our most memorable activity. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, and totally committed to ensuring that we had a good time. We saw shrimp, lobster, jellies, starfish, crabs, urchins, and conches. The most interesting things he caught for us to see more closely were a sea hare and an octopus (which he said was a first for him!). It was very cool. Watching the sunset in the mangroves was beautiful. It was a small group (just my partner and me and another 5-person family). Our guide even kept us out later than scheduled (after making sure it was ok with everyone) to make sure we got to see a lot of different wildlife. Seeing bioluminescence when we dipped our paddles into the water was also very cool. |
