Fantastic Tour - Great for everyone, Entertaining

I'm a repeat customer. Totally fantastic voyage. The guides have been knowledgable and are enthusiastic in their work. The views are awesome and the wildlife is great. The waters have been calm and crystal clear. The guides find all sorts of wildlife and let you hold things, look into their eyes and learn about the environment. There is nothing quite like kayaking through the mangroves. HIGHLY recommended for all ages - took my mother last time and a friend who couldn't paddle this time - and all had a great time.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our kayak trip. Chad was very patient and informative. We were fascinated by the different marine animals that we saw. My husband's favorite part was going through the mangrove tunnels. We highly recommend this tour.

Spectacular Day on the Water!

The day was perfect, our guide Pat was superb! He went out of his way to find a few interesting fauna that otherwise I would not have been aware of, a sea hare, a cassiopeia jellyfish, starfish, a huge hermit crab, live conch, some interesting crabs that hang out in the mangrove, and beware of fire sponges. It was one of the best outings we have done while visiting our family in Key West. Highly recommend this to anyone.

Our guide (James) was very knowledgeable of the marine life he found. He had a great sense of humor and a passion for what he does. I've always wanted to take a kayak tour and this did not disappoint. And having van service just topped an already amazing experience. Forget about the glass bottom boat, this is the best way to see marine life up close.

I highly recommend the sunset kayak tour. It was incredible. We saw a ton of great birds, sea urchins, star fish, two kinds of mangrove crabs, a giant snail, an octopus, a stingray, a little barracuda, a lobster, a huge slug and twinkly bioluminescence. Our guide was knowledgable, patient and encouraged questions. We even got some hands on time with a few of the critters. This was one of my favorite parts of our trip. It was an awesome tour!

Enjoy the Mangroves up close!

This was undeniably the best part of our Key West vacation. After the somewhat tawdry commercialization of the water activities on Key West, it was wonderful to experience the tranquility and simple beauty of watching the sunset and maneuvering through the mangroves. The person who conducts the tour is also excellent - knowledgeable and a very nice personality. I'd enthusiastically recommend this for anyone who wants value for their money and wants to get away from the crowd!

This tour was recommended by our concierge at the Ambrosia Key West. An excellent tour in the Key West mangroves. Our guide (Patrick) went the extra mile to make sure we had a great experience and really knew where to find the wildlife. There were many opportunities to actually reach out and touch some of the shellfish and invertebrates (for those who wished to). Also, enjoyed and appreciated their free shuttle pick up from our B&B.

I happened to pick up one of your brochures at dinner at the Banana Cafe, and am so glad I did. Our family ( kids aged 13, 18 and 23) had a GREAT time kayaking through the mangroves. We were fortunate to have a great guide, perfect weather. Loved that we were picked up and dropped off directly at our hotel, and really enjoyed the kayaking. Glad we had individual kayaks -- we all had great fun! Thanks so much for a perfectly wonderful afternoon!

My sons and I had a wonderful time on the kayak tour. It was very informative, light hearted, grown up enough for the boys, a mild work out and some beautiful scenery. A great hit with everyone.

A beautiful, reverent experience

My wife and I took the day and night tours in mid-December, 2011. We live in Minnesota, but grew up in South Florida. The Blue Planet kayak tours allowed us to experience the intricate beauty of the mangrove ecosystem in a completely new way. I recommend taking both the day and night tours. Either way, you *will* see an abundance of marine life. Here's a partial list of what we had the privilege of seeing: Stingrays, Florida lobster, basket star, brown spiny star, Bahama starfish, red and orange sponges, spotted sea hare, sea cucumber, shrimp (night), octopus (night), blue crabs, ibis, white heron, large conch, bonnethead shark, sea urchins, and stunning bioluminescence (night). The Blue Planet tour guides are experts on the biology of the plant and animal life that you will encounter, and will answer any questions you have. Count on a beautiful, reverent experience, day or night. I give the Blue Planet kayak tours my highest recommendation.
