Guide was very informative and skilled. Only recommendation would be to reduce maximum size of group to allow better sighting and access to information and observation of sites and species.

It was a beautiful moonlite night and the water was calm. We saw some interesting things . The flaw laid with the guide who was very informed and knowledgeable but seemed to be in his own world of information without regard to whether or not anyone could hear him. He did not wait or ask if anyone could hear him or invite questions. He also bad-mouthed the cruise tourists and the capabilities of those people to handle his tours. The tour was not all that it could be unfortunately.

We had a great time. This was our second trip to Key West and the hustle and bustle of the tourist area on Duvall did not thrill us this time. This was a super alternative to enjoy the lesser known areas of Key West. We had a great guide and got to see sharks, starfish and conchs in their natural environment. Very enjoyable and informative.

We saw hermit crab, slugs, octopus, squid and various other fish life---up close like you have never experienced before. Also liked being out during the moonlight.

Enjoyable, informative and good for novice kayakers. Take a camera as you will get some great pictures!

It was enjoyable to have such a close encounter with the environment around Key West. The kayaks were easy to use and a nice easy amount of exercise. The guide was very informational and made sure that everyone had an opportunity to interact with the sealife. Was definitely a highlight for my week in Key West.

The teenagers and adults in our group all loved the kayak trip. The guide was phenomenal and genuinely interested in making this a learning adventure. He found and identified countless species and gave descriptions of their habitats, digestive and reproductive systems, and other detailed information. It was like kayaking with Bill Nye the Science Guy! We especially loved stopping on the sandbar to explore and find sea creatures to discuss. Every minute was fun and worthwhile.

I enjoyed the paddle tremendously. Beautiful!

Katie did a nice job of paddling to our level. Very good explanations of the fawn and fauna and interdependence. Nice eco-tour, and not a hard trip.

I really enjoyed kayaking to bird island and then watching the sunset. Then we kayaked to a mangrove island and put on headlamps. It was spooky and fun. The bay we crossed was very shallow so there were few other boats or traffic. When we were in the mangroves we couldn't tell which way was out or see any lights of the roads or bridges around the area. Great fun.

Chad did a wonderful job of describing the environment and the animal life. Also, my wife needed assistance after getting stuck on a sand bar, and he was most helpful!

I love seeing the "real" place when I go on vacation and not the tourist shops. This was it. Back to nature, REAL, and James was an awesome guide! We saw so many amazing things and the kids loved kayaking through the mysterious mangroves.

I did the trip with my 10 year-old son who loved it! I was concerned there would be too much paddling for him but he came through with flying colours and absolutely loved getting to handle "slimy" sea creatures! James our guide was great. He must have been fed up with us getting caught up in the mangroves time after time but it didn't show. A good time was had by all and I thoroughly recommend this trip! Only downside is the drive out there - a $30 taxi ride - so I recommend taking the transportation that is offered by them!

Blue Planet Kayak offers a fantastic guided kayak adventure It is an easy paddle and our guide James was so knowledgeable and fun. He showed us many wonderful undersea creatures. The highlight of our paddle was seeing four Spotted Eagle Rays. This kayak adventuret was the highlight of our trip and it was so wonderful to see this magical and fascinating area.
