Best Birthday I'll Never Remember

| Got a group of 8 friends to go on the partybus and celebrate my 23rd birthday. We party very, very hard so we have higher standards than most. When most people are calling it a night, we're at the bar ordering a line of shots. We close down bars like it's our job and carry sunglasses for when the house lights come on (okay that last part was a joke but we are used to seeing the house lights come on and the sun rise). I must say...the partybus did not disappoint.
Check-in took all of 2 minutes and our cute hostess always made sure we were all on the bus before moving to our next location. We had about an hour at each bar. First stop was McFadden's, which I am personally not a fan of but I tolerated it by drinking continuously until I was able to mute out the crappy music and ugly girls dancing on the bar (yes, even after heavy drinking the girls there are still ugly).
Next stop was Ultrabar, which is my favorite place in DC. We didn't have to pay the $20 cover and got to skip the really, really long wait and go right on inside. The time flew by way too quickly in there. One hour is simply not enough time to enjoy all four floors of that place.
Last stop was Garret's or some place I've never heard of, which was incredibly lame and empty. However by that point I was so intoxicated it wasn't that big of a deal, but you'd think the last place you'd go to would be the best. Maybe Ultrabar should have been our final destination?
On the party bus itself was alright. They have good loud music and a couple of poles or "stability bars" to dance on, and you can bring drinks from home on board as long as they're not in glass containers. We brought jello shots and cans of beer and had a good time. My one complaint is that the bus has no AC and with 20-30 people dancing pretty close in 70-something-degree weather, everyone got hot and sweaty pretty quickly.
Overall a very enjoyable experience. I know they vary up the bars they go to each weekend, so hopefully McFadden's and Garret's isn't a destination every time. Ultrabar should definitely be one, though. I would definitely recommend this if you're looking to hit up several bars in one night. You don't have to worry about transportation, and you don't have to wait to get in to any bar! |

| We had a blast on the party bus! It was a bunch of boozing and dancing which are our two favorite things! The only thing we would've liked to change was to have more time on the bus. Our guides were great and we had an amazing time! Thanks! |

| I thought this was a great idea for a night out. Well worth the big covers we would have paid, but nobody liked Fly. The bar we went to in Georgetown was also not the greatest - I would pick something more lively for the end of the night. And while you cannot control who signs up, there was a group of very inappropriate young men who did not get the hint that some girls don't want to get hit on...when told multiple times. But, that didn't ruin the night by any means, it was just kind of annoying. |

| I decided to do this because a friend told me that her friend was going for her birthday. I knew 2 people on the bus but I had an amazing time. By the end of the night I was encouraging people I never met before not to throw up, making fun of others I did for passing out and exchanging facebook friend invites. That was last weekend. Since then, I've been actively trying to convince everyone I know with some semblance of an occasion coming up that we should go on the Boomerang bus for it. |

| This was sooo much fun! We had a group going out for a friend's birthday, and it was such a fun night. I wasn't a big fan of any of the bars we went to, but that didn't matter because the group was so much fun! |

| We were a group of college senior girls and had a great time! We were a little hesitant because the three other parties on the bus were bachelorette parties but we ended up having a blast! The best part was being on the bus going place to place, and also not having to spend any money at the bars/clubs because you were able to drink on the bus!
Totally recommend it! |

| We definitely had a wonderful time on the boomerang. The bus part of the tour was some of the best times. It was a blast to be dancing, singing and drinking with a lot of great people. Our "guide" person was Todd and if it wasn't for Todd, I think that we wouldn't have had such a great time. He interacted with everyone on the bus. We all loved him and made our trip worth it and then some. There was also another female there that interacted well with the party goers, but I forget her name. It was great that they danced with us both on the bus and in the clubs that we went to. They made sure that we all had a great time. It seemed that our list of bars weren't the best though. Everyone loved the Eye Bar, but weren't too keen on the tattoo bar nor Lotus. It was perfect though that you only visited each one for just long enough so when you had enough, it was time to go anyways. If you could have a "Todd" on every bus, then you wouldn't have to worry about anything. He is wonderful. We will definitely be scheduling another tour in the very near future. |
