Vineyard and Wine Tasting Tour of Virginia

We went on the winery tour as a birthday present for my boyfriend. There were four of us, and we had a FABULOUS trip. Our hostess, Nikki, was so much fun, and the crowd on the bus was great. I would highly recommend this to everyone, especially those in their 20s or 30s.

I've been on the wine bus a few times, and as always, I had a great time. I liked that we tried new wineries and I'm glad Nikki got to come be our host -- always have a blast with her!

The second winery was terrible. I also thought we spent way too much extra time at the winery's.

A group of 8 of my friends and I decided to try the wine tour on the boomerang bus. Not disappointed at all!! In fact, I have already recommended it to many of my other friends. Whether you go with one other person, on a date or in a group, you will be sure to have a great time. I can't wait for the next winery tour!!

The host was excellent and the schedule was great as it allowed for us to enjoy each spot. However, after the phenomenal first vineyard we were taken to a shabby stop off the highway which was posing as the second vineyard and besides the wine being terrible - the location was horrible too. Would have preferred skipping that all together. Was not happy to spend $20 on wine tasting fees (which are usually $5 / person) but especially not for such a terrible second vineyard. Only disappointing part of the day - it was otherwise great.

THE TOUR WAS AWESOME! MY GIRL FRIENDS AND I LOVED IT. BOTH VINEYARDS WERE NICE. IT WAS RELAXING AND GREAT TO GET AWAY FROM NYC AND EXPERIENCE A CHANGE OF ENVIRONMENT. WINE WAS DELICIOUS. I RECOMEND IT FOR GROUPS. ALL THE PEOPLE ON THE BUS WERE FANTASTIC AND THEY MADE THE TRIP FUN. JOEL WAS A GREAT TOUR GUIDE. WHO DOESNT WANT TO ENJOY A WHOLE DAY OF WINE.

My friends and I went on the tour and we all had a great time! Our tour guide and our bus driver did an amazing job. The vineyards were beautiful. The bus was a lot of fun and the entire group had a blast. We met some fun new people on the tour as well. We were dancing and having a great time drinking wine on the way back from our amazing day! I would definitely reecommend this trip for anyone looking for a fun time.

I thought this was a really fun way for friends to spend the day together. I loved both vineyards and thought the wines were good. On the downside, I would have loved to go to one more close by. I also noticed that the tasting fees at both places were $5-$10, so where did the additional $5-$10 we payed go? If it was for tipping, I'm all about that, but it jusn't wasn't clear on the customer's end. Thanks for a great day!

The staff were disorganized and unprofessional. The bus got lost three times and we had to direct the driver on how to get home and our tour leader was drunk and was vulgar and treated women disrespectfully. I understand these are supposed to be drunk-fests, but the execution of the trip was dramatically unprofessional and I felt like I was in a second rate college party. There were a number of passengers who were noticeably uncomfortable.
