over priced

It was a long, loud, crowded, unconfortable ride on a old school bus. The vinyards were nice but the tour itself left much to be desired. I think $32 is very expensive for a bus ride.

Cheap and fun way to do a wine tasting!

My boyfriend and I did this with a group of our friends from out of town. Last year we did a wine tour with other friends in a private limo, and I must admit that was better (you're on your own timeline, the group isn't nearly as big so you get more attention from the wine people, it picks you up and drops you off at home, etc.), but Boomerang was easily half as expensive!! And we still all had a great time. The Boomerang people on the bus were really nice, and very responsive when I asked a million questions beforehand (thanks Nikki!), it was well organized especially for sure a big group, and we didn't feel rushed at any of the vineyards. (We also lucked out and the weather was gorgeous that day... I don't know how comfortable the bus would be on a super hot/humid day!) As a whole, I would definitely recommend this, and I can see myself doing it again some time :) Tip: pack a lunch and snacks - there's about an hour ride out to the first vineyard, and I don't even remember seeing that much food at any of them (and besides - you want to spend your money on WINE, not overpriced food, right?!). We packed sandwiches and lots of cheese, crackers, and grapes.

wonderful experience!

Our group of 8 took the Boomerang tour to La Grange, Chrysalis, and Swedenburg wineries. The bus ride was fun and you got to know the other travelers. However, I would point out that you get what you pay for--this is not a private charter, it is a party bus, so don't expect the quiet and comfort of a private coach bus. But if you are looking for a fun, inexpensive way to travel to the wineries, this is definitely the way to go! We really enjoyed the trip, the driver and our tour guide Nikki were great. There was plenty of time at each winery to taste all the wines and enjoy a picnic or bottle of wine on the wineries' lovely grounds. I would definitely book a trip with Boomerang Tours again!

Lots of wine and a pimped out school bus is always a great time!

I had a blast! It was organized well. Going with a few friends was the way to do it like I think most others did as well. It definitely helped that it was a gorgeous day so spending the afternoon sipping wine and chatting with friends really couldn't be beat. The wineries had a great variety of wines to taste and I definitely bought a few bottles of my favorites. Overall, well worth the cost and time!

This trip was a college graduation present to myself and a friend of mine and we had such a great time. Not only did we get to spend a whole day with friends we don't often see, but we also met awesome new people that we had a lot in common with. The vineyards were beautiful and our guide, Nikki, was so nice and accomodating. I can't wait to go on another tour!

Waiting for Refund

Took option for refund when second bus broke down and there was not enough space on the other bus. Waiting on refund for the three tickets that I bought. Overall, pretty disappointing.

Boomerang Bus-BOOOOOOO!!!!!

We set up the tour for 75 people on 2 of the buses to leave at 11am. Around 11:35 the first bus showed up and people started getting on. We waited for the second one another 10 minutes before the Boomerrang lady informed us the bus was right around the corner (broken down). We were told 30 minutes for it to be repaired. I asked what happened if it wasn't and she got snippy and never really provided an answer. Needless to say, we crammed all but about 20 people on the first bus and left for the vineyards on the one bus. The other bus was never fixed and the remaining 20 people were left behind. I understand there can be unforeseen issues, but not having a backup plan and then being rude to the paying customers is unacceptable.
