Vineyard and Wine Tasting Tour of Virginia

Want a great, no stress way to visit VA's best vineyards? Look no further! The Boomerang Bus offers a fun atmosphere for those looking to leave the city behind in search of superb local wines and beautiful scenery.

Great company, Great views, safe driver, weak wine. Overall a great way to get away from the city and into the country. Short commute and Bommerang bus is always tons of fun. The wines were not my favorite, but the views and company more than made up for it. Very relaxing worry free way to travel with many people winery to winery. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun non-conventional outing.

I would definitely recommend the Virginia Vineyard Tour!! I've done it twice now and I've had a blast both times. However, I do think that $35 is a bit much for only two vineyards. I paid the same price last year for 3 vineyards. I understand that many wineries no longer allow buses, and I respect that. But I still think its a bit excessive. Overall though, it is so much fun that I obviously paid the $35 anyway!

We had a great time on the wine tour. Although a bit rowdy, the party bus was loads of fun! However, the hosts at Chrysalis were rude and their wine was horrible. I would definitely not recommend that anyone go to that winery. Nothing about that winery appealed to me much and would have preferred a smaller winery that had promise rather than one that thought it was good but really wasn't.

Our bus smelled like it had been heavily partied on the night before, the seating was cramped, and it was really too loud to have a conversation other than yelling at the person next to you. Also, the tasting fees were outrageous, $10 per person, per winery, on top of what we already paid for the bus tickets. We enjoyed our time off the bus at the vineyards though, so my recommendation is, save yourself the nausea and drive!

We had a great time on the trip. Dave, our host, was excellent. Looking forward to more tours!

My group of friends decided we would go on another wine tour on the Boomerang Bus with Nikki. We had such an awesome time last time we went, so we decided to all get together to celebrate three different birthday's. The weekend that we went was the same day Tropical Storm Hanna came into town. Initially, we thought things might be a little rained out. NOPE! It was on! Nikki came through again. The bus was packed, everyone had a good vibe, and the rain didn't even slow us down. We made it to three different wineries that day (thanks to Suzy). By the third stop, the rain stopped, and the sun came on through. I would highly recommend this tour rain or shine, for anyone looking for a different approach to wine tasting tours. Once again we had a blast, and met a whole bus load of people. Oh, the wine was good too!

I went with a large group on the wine tour for my friend's birthday and it was SO much fun....our tour guide Nikki was awesome and the vineyards we went to were beautiful. Everyone on the bus (even the ones we didn't know prior to that day) hung out together and had a great time! Whether you enjoy wine or not, this tour is defintely an experience to have :)

This trip was fun, but a bit different from what my friends and I expected. If you are really looking to PARTY, this is the trip for you. By party, I mean making out with the other people on the bus, throwing up on the bus, and passing out on the bus. Personally I do not care to ride on a hot and humid old school bus with people who are throwing up! However if this is your scene, I'm sure you'll have a blast!

This is one of my favorite activities! Always a great time! Been on it 3 times and thinking of going on it again before the end of the year.
