| I attended the 9/06/08 Vineyard and Wine Tasting Tour. This is my second time taking this tour. This one was unique because there were heavy rains and wind due to a tropical storm/hurriance brewing on the East Coast. Nikki was our guide and turned what was an ugly day into the best hurricane party ever! I lived in Virginia Beach for years and have attended a few hurricane parties. This topped them all. Nikki was enthusiastic and bubbly, her positive outlook was contagious! Tracy, our driver got to each destination safely and with a smile on his face! Kudos to them both! I enjoyed the scheduled stops greatly, but enjoyed our unscheduled stop at Bluemont the most! This winery elevated 951 feet was picturesque and had a friendly staff! Live music and great wines made this stand apart from the rest. Nikki's sense of customer service and adventure, along with Tracy's capable driving skills made this a superb experience! I'll see you in November! |

| I wasn't surprised at the way the bus was (school bus w/ seats pulled out and bench around the interior), but I was a little surprised that all the windows wouldn't close all the way. It was freezing! I think with the $35 per person, the bus could have been in a bit better condition. Also, I think they oversold the tickets as everyone was squished on the bus.
But the good news is, this really was fun. I don't know if I'd do it again, but it was worth the one time I did. I don't think we should have stayed as long at the 2nd vineyard because everyone was ready to go and pretty pooped, but that was probably also due to the fact that it was really cold out .
Overall, I think this is a fun group thing to do, but you have to know what to expect. This isn't a luxury trip. |

| We had a great time! Our host Joel was awesome and enthusiastic, and the wineries were a blast! The only thing I'd suggest is maybe trying to find a closer meeting place to where the actual wineries are located or giving people a heads up about how long the bus ride will be or maybe even stopping for a bathroom break halfway! It is a little bit hard to drink and then sit on a bus without a bathroom for close to an hour, maybe more with traffic! All and all, I think it was a good experience and would definitely do it again!
Also, I have been on other Boomerang bus rides before (the ones that go to bars in DC) and the only thing I would suggest about those are posting in advance the bars that people will be visiting. It's nice to know ahead of time what bars you are getting yourself into! |

| There were 20 or so of us and things got a little crazy but our tour guide, Joel, was fantastic and the wineries we went to were beautiful. (The Bluemont and Veramar) They both had a great set up for socializing and their staff was friendly and accommodating. Will absolutely do this as a yearly event! (In fact, some felt that it should be declared a national holiday.) |

| I had the best time on the tour this past Sunday (even thought we went to the same vineyards the last time). The weather was perfect and all the groups were so friendly and fun. Nikki and the boomerang crew really made this a birthday to remember. Thanks for everything!! |

| Nikky was awesome and kept the party alive. Company was great too, but the wines weren't that great (except for maybe the first one). The third one especially, most wines tasted like vinegar (acidic), which was ok since we were mostly drunk by then.
Overall, thanks for a great trip!! |

| I had a great time on the wine tour. Our tour guide Joel was enthusiastic and interacted with us every step of the way. The only aspect that I did not like, is that we did not get an actual tour of the wineries. It would have been nice to see the actual inside and learn a bit about how the wines are made. The Chrysyalis winery was much more enjoyable and organized. Loudon winery although a bit more disorganized, had a very laid back feel and still enjoyable! |
