Boomerang Tours

The bus didn't leave until just about 10 PM. We hung at Eden for awhile, but after making sure we got there on time, it kind of killed our momentum. It also felt like we were barely on the bus. Also, not a great diversity in terms of which bars were visited.

I'd highly recommend the Boomerang Bus if you want an alcohol-infused night out on the town in DC. Perks include bringing as much booze onto the bus as you'd like. James and Lisa were excellent hosts to my birthday party group, and they encouraged not only my group, but the 2 bachelorette and 1 bachelor party on board to have a WILD and CRAZY time on board. I'd highly recommend it. You get to explore a diverse selection of bars and clubs in the city.. 3 random ones on any given night. All the bars/clubs on rotation on the Boomerang are solid, so your drunken mind will definitely approve. All and all an excellent experience and would definitely recommend for any sort of celebration, whether it be a birthday party or celebrating making it through another work week, you should definitely treat yourself to the Boomerang.

I had a great time though more effort to could be put towards mixing the groups. The staff might be take some steps to bring everyone together a little more.

Bus came about a half hour later than we thought (which ultimately shortens the bar and bus time) and our one request for a rooftop bar was nice, but the rooftop area of it was closed for a private party. So ultimately it was three intense dance clubs. A chill out spots at some point in the nice would have been nice.

LOVED THIS!!! Bar hopping has never been so ORGANIZED and SAFE!!! (perfect for the students who have worried parents thousands of miles away)--PLUS, WE WERE FED THE MOST AWESOME FOOD EVER!!! Can't wait to use this again!!

The bus ride was fun and we were able to take mimosas on board. It wasn't too packed, which was nice and the other groups on our bus were very friendly as well. Only complaint about the ride is that they could have changed up the music a bit. We listened to one CD on repeat twice before someone begged for it to be changed! Veramar was a nice vineyard but the wines smelled/tasted awful there! The wines were much better out Loudon Valley but the tasting was done outside and we were mashed with two Boomerang groups which my group didn't like. We weren't even able to fit around the table or hear what the host had to say. The premises could use some updated (which I think they are doing) but overall, I would recommend Loudon Valley over Veramar. Veramar had a bit of a snooty air and their only (allegedly) decent wine is only available for Estate Club members. Thanks for sticking the plebs with the nasty fertilizer-smelling stuff. It was a great day weather-wise and we had a great time- would definitely do it again although a change of vineyards would be nice. Our guide even warned us/knew the wines at Veramar weren't so great yet they took us there anyways? Why not give us two vineyards where you know the wine is good. I would not want to go to Veramar again. My group would gladly do the tour or a similar one again, though.

The tour and bus itself was a lot of fun but the vineyards left a lot to be desired. The first vineyard went to was Loudon Valley Vineyards and it was absolutely terrible. The guy doing the tasting flat out refused to explain any of the wines and moved so fast through the tasting that you had to chug your wine in order to not miss the next. Not to mention, the wines were terrible. The second vineyard was Bogati Bodega and it was much better. They had great pizzas and cheese platters you could order and the girl doing the tasting made a good effort to try to explain the wines despite our big group. Overall, the boomerang bus was really fun and our host Jordan stll made a good time out of the experience.

first i want to say thank you for not leaving me when i got the times wrong nad nearly missed the bus. Secondly i couldnt have asked for a better day. I will def do another one to other wineries!

Overall good time, good way to spend a Saturday with friends. There was a little too much time at each vineyard, and it was a very long day. In the future I'd be more interested in a tour that started at twelve (noon) and lasted until six.

Just recently finished my third occasion with the Boomerang Bus and it never ceases to amaze me. The bars were fantastic, the hostesses were great, and the atmosphere was awesome.I see myself doing another one in the hopefully not to distant future

Will recommend for bachelorette or girls night out. Really fun, lots of music and dancing!

Great time

They took us to the most ghetto clubs of DC. This was probably the biggest waste of money I have ever dished out. They don't tell you the bars you're going to night of the event for one reason, because they're taking you to places that no one goes to. First, we went to UltraBar... if you're from Washington D.C. you know that it one of the worst "spots" in D.C. Next we went to Dirty Bar and onto Muse. I went on a Friday night and the amount of people at these clubs was the equivalent to going to a club/bar on a monday afternoon.. NO ONE WAS THERE. My friends and I will make sure to NEVER take the boomerang again and will NEVER try out the boomerang yacht tour. What a joke.
