My girlfriend and I attended this event on the boomerang. We had a very good time. We really did. However, I would like to give a little more information than we were given from Zerve. Important details I believe that will enhance this adventure. First ,we were told that the attire is fabulous dressy attire. Most of the people on the boomerang had on jeans. My girlfriend and I felt a little over dressed but we did not let that keep us from enjoying ourselves. Second, we were the oldest people on the boomerang (49 and 50), but again, we did not let that keep us from having a good time. So, I would suggest that you come with a mindset that you will be partying with a mixed crowd (young, middle age, black, white). Third, I would also suggest that you bring a bottle w/cups with you if you want to take a taste on the bus before you go into the club. This was a very nice touch of class. One 30-something age group came on with jello shooters and shared them with the whole bus. Another group of 24-something age was celebrating a birthday and shared minature bottles with the birthday girls name on the bottles. Now for the good stuff. My girlfriend and I really had a wonderful time. We went to four clubs. The two were just bars, but when we went next door to Modern and had a fabulous time. They were partying, dancing, just having a good time. We left Modern and went to R&R, last club on the agenda (would you believe it, it was a Irish club). But let me tell you. They played the music. I usually don't dance off young people music, but he played a little young and old but not the real go-go type. Everyone was partying so hard. My girlfriend and I had such a good time, I am trying to convince my niece to have her Birthday party on the boomerang in June 22 or 23rd. I would like to add that I don't usually party with a younger crowd but no one got out of hand. Everyone was just having a good time. Also, we got left behind by the 1st bus, but there was another bus that took a sweep of the place before they left, so we got on his bus. That bus was fun also. Let me tell you about the bus. It is a place to let you hair down. They play music. It's like being in a club on wheels. When you first get on the bus if you are around the 49-50 age, you are skeptical. But just go with it. Go with the groove. You will definitely have a good time. Really, we did and plan to go again.

The new seating conversion just bumped this bus up a notch. Stripper pole + stereo system + on board alcohol = a good time in my book. The only con's: no on board bathroom. Bladder control is a must for long hauls. If you're lucky Father Kuss might be presiding over the bus services.

If I go into detail about how much I love this freakin bus, I'm afraid it may get booked up too fast. We've been out on the Boomerang with Dave and Niki 3 or 4 times now. Every time has been insane. Those two know how to host a bar crawl.

It was a lot of fun. Outstanding variety showing different types of nite life that DC has to offer. Only change would be eliminating Rumors (don't believe it's a very good indicator of how Georgetown bard truly are) and perhaps including something in the Atlas District.

We set up the tour for 75 people on 2 of the buses to leave at 11am. Around 11:35 the first bus showed up and people started getting on. We waited for the second one another 10 minutes before the Boomerrang lady informed us the bus was right around the corner (broken down). We were told 30 minutes for it to be repaired. I asked what happened if it wasn't and she got snippy and never really provided an answer. Needless to say, we crammed all but about 20 people on the first bus and left for the vineyards on the one bus. The other bus was never fixed and the remaining 20 people were left behind. I understand there can be unforeseen issues, but not having a backup plan and then being rude to the paying customers is unacceptable.

We never actually went on our trip since our bus broke down... bummer, EXCEPT that the tour guides offered us a refund with no problem and were very apologetic. Good for them!! I'll definetely try to go again! My friends that did go said they had a GREAT time!

The Boomerang party bus is what it is - a gaudily-repainted school bus (whose seats are just as uncomfortable as you remember from grade school) that shuttles you around to several bars within the city. If you enjoy bar hopping and being surrounded by loud, obnoxious drunk people, then you'll probably enjoy the Boomerang. If that's not your idea of fun, you certaily won't miss a life-altering experience if you turn this one down. The one plus I will give Boomerang is that they do make the trip worth your money in the end. My friends and I ended the night at Fur, which not only has a $20 cover fee, our Boomerang pass gave us access to the VIP room, which normally would have cost us at least another $30 (so our tour guide told me). Without this final stop, though, I would say that there is no way Boomerang is worth the $30 "entrance fee."

This trip cost $32 and it was worth every penny. You get driven to each of the bars that are picked (while getting to drink on the bus), and you don't have to pay any cover or wait on line. This is such a good deal b/c half of the bars that we went too had cover that cost almost as much as the bus ticket did. Highly recommended for birthday parties

We went with about 15-20 people for my friend's birthday. First, we went to McFadden's where we got dollar beers (and no cover) then over to Modern where we got $4 cocktails (and no cover) then over to Fur where we were able to get into the VIP Room (a $30 cover which we again did not pay). The bus was great. They even had left over beers on the bus from the earlier group, so we got to drink that. We also brought 135 jello shots...soo, naturally it was going to be a fun night. And oddly enough, I didn't even end up buying a drink at the bars! Highly recommend! How to do it right: -Get a big group together -Bring booze on the bus -Make jello shots -Bring cheap champagne -Bring your camera -Have your guy friends strip on the bus at some point (assumes there are bachelorette parties on the bus)

The bus fills up fast. At least it did during the month of april. So if u plannin to take a group 8+; have 1 person buy all tickets so they dont sell out. This is a good way to check out different bars/clubs. They have decent prices on drinks, but definitly bring what u like n leave it on the bus. I dont know what its usually like, but on my night the bus was full n i was 1 of the 3 guys on it. So if u lookin to go out n have a fun positive night, this is what u want

Sure beats paying for cabs or trying to find parking when bouncing b/w multiple venues. Our host Nikki was awesome. Bus could use some neon lights. My favorite spot was Modern.
