A GREAT NIGHT OUT ON THE TOWN

| We had a ball! My friend and I went together to meet new friends. It was the Inauguration weekend so there were a few tourists, that were friends of the locals on our bus. Our group got along so well and we all felt as if we had known each other for years. Everyone was very friendly and we all partied so well together. There weren't any outsiders who stood alone. We all had a ball at the clubs and got inside without any problems. I didn't want the night to end. All in all the trip was great and I will definitely do this again. Our leader, Hank, was the best!!!! I definitely want to be on his bus next time. :) | ||||||

| WELL I REALLY HAD A GREAT TIME.I WAS ABLE TO ENJOY MYSELF WITHOUT ANY WORRIES.THE CLUBS WE WENT TO WERE ALL REALLY NICE; HOWEVER BY US GETTING TO THE CLUBS SO EARLY NO ONE WAS THERE.THE BEST CLUB WE WENT TO WAS ACTUALLY OUR FIRST STOP , SO THE PARTY DID NOT GET GOING THERE UNTIL WE WERE ACTUALLY GETTING READY TO LEAVE. THE CROWD ON THE BUS WERE ALL FROM DIFFERENT WALKS OF LIFE AND ALL OVER THE WORLD; HOWEVER, WE ALL ACT AS IF WE HAD MET BEFORE.... WE ACTUALLY HAD MORE FUN ON THE BUS. WE DID NOT WANT TO EVEN GET OFF. WE WISHED IT WAS LONGER THAN THE 5 HOURS. I WOULD RECOMMEND IT FOR ANYONE LOOKING TO HAVE A GREAT TIME AND MEET NEW PEOPLE. EVERYONE CAME WITH AN OPEN MIND AND READY TO HAVE FUN AND THAT WE DID. THE BUS DRIVER WAS EXTREMELY NICE, AND SO WAS OUR TOUR GUIDE HANK. THERE ARE NO WORDS TO EXPLAIN THE GREAT EXPERIENCE WE HAD WITH PEOPLE I NEVER MET BEFORE, EXCEPT MAYBE FUN FUN FUN!!!! SO YOU SHOULD TRY IT OUT, I AM SURE YOU WILL BE IMPRESSED AS WELL!!!! GOOD LUCK AND REMEMBER TO BRING AN OPEN MIND AND A GREAT ATTITUDE!! | ||||||

| I think this is a great idea. Its a safe way to see the city and enjoy time with your friends while also meeting new people. Too often have I gone out and tried to find a parking spot to no avail. I also hate waiting in those long lines. Then maybe I got to a club/party/bar and wanted to leave but I didn't to go thru the task of waiting in line and finding parking again. So this was a great opportunity to see different places, skip to the front of the line and having safe transportation (designated driver) through the city. It was wonderful. I'll be coming back again. Trust me. | ||||||

| Had a great time with a large group of friends. Some places were crowded so we had to go to alternate locations that were not as entertaining but overall the bus atmosphere was awesome. I would definitely do it again! | ||||||

| My maid of honor booked my bachelorette party on the boomerang bus. We were an energetic group of gals in 80's attire and we had a fabulous time! I have gone on the bus 2 other times for different occasions and always have a good time. It is such a cost effective way to get a feel for the city and its night life. Who wants to stand in line out in the cold and pay 20 bucks to go to one place. Then pay at least $100 in drinks!? On the bus you BYOB and drink as much as you need to for super cheap, then run in front of the crowds to the front of the line to pay no cover and sometimes even have VIP access. Wow did I feel special on my night, and thats the way it shoud be. We even went to four or five different places. I dont know if married life will have me wondering back to the bus anytime soon, but for all those single ladies and guys looking to see the city and meet people, this is the way to go! | ||||||

| I have taken the Boomerang Party Bus now on three seperate occasions - Once for St. Patrick's Day/My Birthday, once for my Hisband's Surprise Birthday Party and just recently for my Best Friend's Bachelorette Party. Each time we have great fun, we love the line passes, no cover charges and discounts on drinks - but most importantly the BYOB bus ride!! | ||||||

Great for a Birthday Party

| I decided to celebrate my 34th birthday on the party bus in January with 10 of my closest friends. I highly suggest that if you have a large group, you purchase tickets as far ahead of time as possible. I sent out an Evite about three weeks before hand, but only 9 of us were able to purchase tickets before it sold out. Two of my ticketless friends showed up to Rumors anyway and WERE able to purchase tickets as walk-ups. We actually ate dinner at Rumors (the food was good, and the place was not crowded at 7pm so we received quick service considering we had such a large group). The party bus staff showed up close to 9pm... we checked in and were each given wristbands and a piece of paper listing the bars we would be visiting and the drinks specials for each bar. The bus picked us up across the street from Rumors at 9:30pm. The three bars we visited were Tattoo Bar, Midtown and Eye Bar (in that order). Tattoo was cramped... there is way too much space in that small little bar dedicated to VIP tables... which were mostly empty. The drink special they had was some sort of raspberry shooter for $5 - several of my friends purchased it and said that it was NOT very tasty. Midtown was nice, but the security there would not allow any of us to sit down in there, which was kind of annoying since we had already been partying for 4+ hours at that point. Eye Bar was the nicest of the three, but their drink special was bunk... it was advertised on the piece of paper that we received, but the bartender said, "Oh, that special expires at 11pm." Huh??? How is it possible that this was a "Exclusive Boomerang Party Bus Drink Special", and we weren't scheduled to get to the last bar until well after midnight, yet the drink special expired at 11pm??? What a scam! The party bus dropped us off back near Rumors close to 2:30am. We had time to duck into the McDonald's on M Street and make it back to the Metro (Farragut West) in time to catch the last train (which shows up around 3:20am). The actual party bus was fun. Our group of 11 shared the bus with two other groups also celebrating birthdays. We mingled a little with the other groups as the night wore on which added to the fun. The bus DJ played great music. The party bus hosts Nikki and Kelly had a ton of energy and were trying to make us dance on the "stripper pole" even though many of us didn't really want to because we were exhausted by the end of the night. The bus driver Alfonzo was a trip. I highly recommend that you bring your own alcohol on ths bus. This was what made the night worth it. I didn't spend a dime in any of the bars because I had enough on the bus. I do wish we had a little more time on the bus in between bars because some of enjoyed the bus more than the bars! I also wish they would allow you to sit on the bus if you didn't want to go into every bar, but alas they quickly shoo you off at every stop. (You can leave your stuff on the bus though.) | ||||||

| There were three different groups on our bus, and we meshed pretty well. Everyone had fun. The staff and driver were enthusiastic and fun. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'm glad I signed up for it. | ||||||

| I believe this service is great for groups of friends that are celebrating with a purpose. I do think that is is much more geared to a younger group 20 somethings, but was certainly also fun for our 30 something group. I liked the convenience and the free entranced into the clubs, however some of the clubs were very small and some of the clubs did not honor the specials after a certain time of the night. You should certainly see what you can do about that! The hosts were nice and didn't a great job, but they did seem a bit cheesy (for example using the same phrase to several people to pump you up or encourage you to let loose). I personally would have liked a little bit more time on the bus in between the bars as the drinking/dancing on the bus was sometimes more fun than the crowded clubs we were in. All in all it was fun, and I imagine if I would have done this 5-10 years ago, I would have been a regular customer for a while ;) | ||||||
