| I wasn't surprised at the way the bus was (school bus w/ seats pulled out and bench around the interior), but I was a little surprised that all the windows wouldn't close all the way. It was freezing! I think with the $35 per person, the bus could have been in a bit better condition. Also, I think they oversold the tickets as everyone was squished on the bus. But the good news is, this really was fun. I don't know if I'd do it again, but it was worth the one time I did. I don't think we should have stayed as long at the 2nd vineyard because everyone was ready to go and pretty pooped, but that was probably also due to the fact that it was really cold out . Overall, I think this is a fun group thing to do, but you have to know what to expect. This isn't a luxury trip. | ||||||

| I don't know what I was thinking. Somehow the term "Party Bus" evoked images of posh bus accomidations, cozy seating, and a disco ball with a mini bar and a bathroom. For $35 I would expect at least that. But as I walked up to the bus, my first thought was "Oh boy, I'm gonna have to stop by starbucks and use THEIR toilet before I get on the bus." The Boomerang was basically a converted school bus, which of course has its own charm, but nothing like I expected...certainly not for $35. It was painted with all sorts of colorful depictions of partying, and on the inside it was gutted, with vinyl padded bench-like seating lining the frame of the bus. The wood laminate flooring in the center aisle had three yellow poles that went up to the roof of the bus, with just enough room to move about and pole dance. No storage for bags. No disco ball. No toilet facilities. The faint stale scent of old spilled alcohol lent itself to the ambiance of a divey joint. At least at a divey joint, $35 may have included the price of the alcohol. But it didn't. After paying $35 to reserve a spot on the bus (which they had overbooked, because we were packed like sardines...cheek to cheek, so to speak...and they still expected 4 more people who didn't show up), they asked us to cough up $20 MORE in cash to cover the wine tasting fees. To me that wasn't a surprise, because I had read the website in excruciating detail. However, I wish they had been more explicit in (a) stating that we would have to pay additional tasting fees and (b) stating up front how much those tasting fees were and what they would include. Honestly, if I had known that it would have cost me at total of $55, I would have just driven out to the wineries myself and saved $35. In all, it was a fun experience but I wouldn't do it again. The arrangements on the bus are not optimal, and we kept getting separated from the rest of our group, and I didn't want to keep asking people to scoot over so I could sit next to my friends. The 80's music eventually turned into modern pop club music as the sun went down. There were no lights inside the bus after dark. It was just dark. And there were lots of drunk people dancing on the bus, stepping on my feet, and spilling wine on the guy next to me while they struggled to keep their pants up. I give it a 4 out of 10. | ||||||

| I don't know what you do on Friday Nights. But this is one of the best things you can do on any night. If i could, i would be on the bus every night (even Mondays) There is no way you can go to as many places, have that much to drink, and have that much fun. Boomerang has never let me down, and lived up to their reputation this past Friday. I am already looking forward to the next time i hang out on the bus!!! | ||||||

| wow, wow wow wow. Such a great time. The bars were fun and all but honestly the best time is simply hanging on the bus. There are coolers for BYOB beverages and it only takes one stop at one bar before everything gets crazy. If you are into the bar scene, well the boomerang is a great way to get into bars that might normally have a huge line. VIP service at Ultra Bar and Tattoo where you get let right in. Makes for a great birthday party or group outing to the bars. Such a great deal.....thx boomerang had a blast!!!!! | ||||||

| I highly recommend checking out the Boomerang if you haven't already. The very affordable cost gets you an incredible night out on the town. The boomerang attracts a great group of people too - people who are looking to party it up. The fee gets you a BYOB bus ride - complete with music and a great party atmosphere, as well as NO COVER at any of the stops and you skip to the front of the line. I've ridden the boomerang many a time and never been disappointed. Friday was no different - the hosts were great, the drinks flowing, and the night, as always, a party in itself! | ||||||

| What can I say? This was hands down one of the best nights I had with my friends all year. We had been trying to think of something different to do for a friends birthday and someone had suggested the Boomerang...so glad we decided to try it. For those of you who have not, I highly recommend you find a weekend night trip to go...brace yourselves, you might not expect to have such a crazy good time! This party never slowed down from the moment it started...it seemed like within minutes, everyone on the bus was up dancing, singing, and enjoying some cold drinks! Here's to the Boomerang - we couldn't have thrown such a killer bday party without you! | ||||||

| Thanks so much to Dave and Nikki for an awesome night on the Boomerang! While there was a mix-up during our tour with Gin &Tonic, they got most of us re-routed quickly and saved the night! While another reviewer is drama-queen upset about the mix-up, what she failed to mention was that our bus trip was a private event - so everyone left inside G & T were friends of those still on the bus ... and many quickly re-grouped or left "had an amazing time" voicemails not long after. It was my first time on the bus, and I will definitely be back to take the tour again. A FANTASTIC night! | ||||||

| A group of friends and I rode the Boomerang on Friday, Nov 21st and had the most amazing night! For anyone who enjoys seeing different parts of the city, meeting awesome people, and going to fabulous bars, I recommend you try the Boomerang! On top of that, there was a live DJ on the bus! He took requests all night and helped in making the bus a dance party on wheels. We all had so much fun, I can't wait to ride again soon...thanks Boomerang! | ||||||

| I would highly encourage anyone thinking about doing this to NOT do so. I went on Saturday night (Nov. 22) on the recommendation of a friend who was getting a group together. I was having a lot of fun until the bus got to last bar, Gin & Tonic. There was a problem between the bus organizers and the bar. Apparently, they had not made proper arrangements with the bar to get everyone in. So after standing out in the cold for a while, we were told to get back on the bus. Then we were told to get off the bus again and go inside. The organizer, a guy named Dave, said the bus would be leaving at 1:55. So some friends and I went to the bar to get drinks. The next thing I know, I get a text from my friend who was still on the bus saying not everyone could get in to the bar, so the bus had left!! My friend told the organizer to wait because there were several riders still in the bar, but he didn't. The bus left 20 minutes before the stated departure time, and NO ONE came into the bar to tell the people who were left there! My coat was on the bus, so I had to try to find a cab in below 30 degree weather without a coat! I don't know how a business can be run this way and expect to get repeat customers. I was going to recommend it to a friend for her birthday and another for a bachlorette party, and after my experience on Saturday night there is NO WAY I would recommend anyone use this service. | ||||||

| My family and friends rode the bus for my 30th birthday party and had a blast!!! The bars were great and the party planners really knew how to keep everyone together and made sure we all had fun. Thank you Boomerang for a wonderful birthday celebration!! We will definitely be back soon :) | ||||||

| This was my first time on the Boomerang bus and I had and awesome time. The spots we went to were great and the hosts kept the party going on the bus. I would def recommend it as a must do if you are a resident of DC...especially if you like to people watch :) | ||||||
