Good way to get a group of friends together and was a lot of fun. Also nice to be able to walk in VIP, which made the $35 worth it. Only thing I didn't like is we didnt' make the metro after. I wish they dropped you off at a metro station instead of Rumors. Fun though!

Not a lot of people on our bus, but we still had a great time! Our hosts were a lot of fun, and the music selection was great. The bus was more fun than the bars! Although it was fun to pass everyone in line at the bars and not pay cover!!

At first I wasn't sure how a slightly older (25ish) crowd would like to be on a school bus going around to D.C. clubs, but it definitely was one of the best things I've done with my weekend on the social level in a while. The bus was big enough that everyone could interact and still have their own personal space. I think advertising ahead of time what partner clubs will be on the itinerary would increase ticket sales although it's prob. not needed. At times the bus did seem cramped (we have some taller folks) but hey no one really complained too much.

I went to celebrate my girls' 30th birthday. We were a little worried because our group is mostly straight hip-hop and R&B party goers ages ranged from 21-35....ain't too many clubs that service those ranges well. We were worried for nothing! Our mixed male/female group of about 15 shared the bus with a bachelorette party...it was great! One of the hosts was drunk before we ever left Rumors....extra niiiiicee....and we had a good time at all the bars. The bar order should have been reversed, since we went to the hottest club first and the dryest club last, but i was happy either way. The bus was just as much fun as the clubs, if not more. One word of caution, the BUS WILL LEAVE WHEN THEY SAY THEY ARE LEAVING..they are not playing...you will end up running down M street trying to catch it LOL!

It was a very "different" night for me. The only downfall was that the stay at the clubs were too short, by the time you kind of get comfortable in a club and settled it was time to leave and get on the bus to get on another. Possible solution-expand the time in each club by making it a longer night, returning at 2:10am was wayyyyyyyyy to early. The bus didn't seem as if it was big enough to hold 30 ppl. Love how it was painted though.

it was fun, seriously do it. lived in alexandria my entire life, and got to go to 3 bars I have never been to and I go out quite often. only place we had to wait outside of was eye bar but it was only like 5 mins.

As long as you are going with a group of your closest friends - this trip is bound to be AMAZING. I was on the party bus with 12 of my closest girlfriends for my last night single and it was one to remember. We danced, laughed, and drank on the bus and had the times of our lives!! It's definitely something to experience for a girls night out, etc. Service was great and the clubs were decent. The last club could have been a bit better but overall the experience is definitely going down in history!

I wasn't surprised at the way the bus was (school bus w/ seats pulled out and bench around the interior), but I was a little surprised that all the windows wouldn't close all the way. It was freezing! I think with the $35 per person, the bus could have been in a bit better condition. Also, I think they oversold the tickets as everyone was squished on the bus. But the good news is, this really was fun. I don't know if I'd do it again, but it was worth the one time I did. I don't think we should have stayed as long at the 2nd vineyard because everyone was ready to go and pretty pooped, but that was probably also due to the fact that it was really cold out . Overall, I think this is a fun group thing to do, but you have to know what to expect. This isn't a luxury trip.

I don't know what I was thinking. Somehow the term "Party Bus" evoked images of posh bus accomidations, cozy seating, and a disco ball with a mini bar and a bathroom. For $35 I would expect at least that. But as I walked up to the bus, my first thought was "Oh boy, I'm gonna have to stop by starbucks and use THEIR toilet before I get on the bus." The Boomerang was basically a converted school bus, which of course has its own charm, but nothing like I expected...certainly not for $35. It was painted with all sorts of colorful depictions of partying, and on the inside it was gutted, with vinyl padded bench-like seating lining the frame of the bus. The wood laminate flooring in the center aisle had three yellow poles that went up to the roof of the bus, with just enough room to move about and pole dance. No storage for bags. No disco ball. No toilet facilities. The faint stale scent of old spilled alcohol lent itself to the ambiance of a divey joint. At least at a divey joint, $35 may have included the price of the alcohol. But it didn't. After paying $35 to reserve a spot on the bus (which they had overbooked, because we were packed like sardines...cheek to cheek, so to speak...and they still expected 4 more people who didn't show up), they asked us to cough up $20 MORE in cash to cover the wine tasting fees. To me that wasn't a surprise, because I had read the website in excruciating detail. However, I wish they had been more explicit in (a) stating that we would have to pay additional tasting fees and (b) stating up front how much those tasting fees were and what they would include. Honestly, if I had known that it would have cost me at total of $55, I would have just driven out to the wineries myself and saved $35. In all, it was a fun experience but I wouldn't do it again. The arrangements on the bus are not optimal, and we kept getting separated from the rest of our group, and I didn't want to keep asking people to scoot over so I could sit next to my friends. The 80's music eventually turned into modern pop club music as the sun went down. There were no lights inside the bus after dark. It was just dark. And there were lots of drunk people dancing on the bus, stepping on my feet, and spilling wine on the guy next to me while they struggled to keep their pants up. I give it a 4 out of 10.

I don't know what you do on Friday Nights. But this is one of the best things you can do on any night. If i could, i would be on the bus every night (even Mondays) There is no way you can go to as many places, have that much to drink, and have that much fun. Boomerang has never let me down, and lived up to their reputation this past Friday. I am already looking forward to the next time i hang out on the bus!!!
