Boomerang Tours

There wasn't much information given to us once we were on the bus. The e-mail we received ahead of time did not correlate to the actual stops we did make. Then the bus kept changing locations at the end of the day. First we were told to walk up the hill to the bus, then we got there and the bus drove back to wait where we first were. There was just poor coordination overall.

Aside from getting caught on the rocks a couple times, great time had by all. The bus trip on the way back is always a blast. Shawn is bestest host ever! :p

I had a great time on this trip! They did a great job organizing, providing restroom and food stops, and giving us what we needed for tubing. My only complaint is that it seemed we were on the river for a FAR shorter time than trips I've gone on with Boomerang/Zerve in the past. It seemed 1 if not 2 hours shorter than before. I didn't have a phone/watch so I couldn't be sure, but it was definitely shorter. Would much prefer a longer trip. Thank you!

Everyone needs to experience the party bus at least once! Great hosts and a great night!

This was a great idea for my friend's Bachelorette party. Even thought the bus was all girls, guys should definetly take advantage of this idea. They would meet so many wild and fun girls. She has a great time! Thanks boomerang bus!

We used Boomerang Bus as an easy way to hop around town for a birthday party. There were 9 of us girls and we had a blast. It was fun being able to dance and party between stops. We had a great time and will most likely use Boomerang Bus again in the future.

This is my third party bus experience, and while it was fun as always, I won't be doing it on a Friday night again. The last 2 times was on a Saturday and I think the club lineup was better. The Front Page in in Arlington was kinda boring, Tattoo was waaaayyyy too small and crowded. Midtown was fun, but Modern in G town was awful. Even though we all had to be 21 to ride the bus and had wrist bands, they wouldn't let in two of our group because they didn't have Id's. Now I know that it is common sense that when you are out you have your ID (they had left it on the bus and the bus couldn't come back) the club management were total jerks, even though our hosts tried to go to bat for us. So the two girls (and it was the bdays btw) had to sit outside on the curb for an hour, and the rest of us took turns sitting there with them. All in all I would give it a B, where as the other two experiences I had were A's. Suggestion to anyone doing the bus for the first time: book as far out as possible and get as many friends as possible, so that you can have the whole bus to yourself and not be stuck with a bunch of skanks/stuck up gold diggers/mail order brides on your bus. And also, if you are female, don't be an idiot and wear 6 inch heels (a girl totally busted her a** trying to negotiate the bus steps) and wear a micro mini (cause chances are while you are swinging around the "stability" pole you are gonna crotch flash and unless you want it all over facebook, cover your business.

I was with a group of 10 other girls celebrating a friend's bachelorette party. The Boomerang bus was the perfect addition to a night out! Not being from the area, we were unsure of what bars or clubs would be fun or even safe. The Boomerang bus made all of these decisions for us and provided us with a great group of people and fun tour guide to help along the way. It beats paying for a taxi and wandering around D.C. and paying for several cover charges a million times over, what a great deal! The bars we went to were all so much fun. My only complaint would be the lack of air conditioning on the bus. We went in the middle of July so we were all a hot mess by the time we got to the first spot. Any sort of cooling system would help a ton. A friend of mine somehow lost her passport during the night so when we got back to the hotel (2:30 a.m. or so) we called Zerve and left a message asking if they had found it. First thing in the morning I got a call from an employee at Zerve who was so enthusiastic to hear that we had found it, he was very helpful. Overall, great staff, great bus, great bars, and most importantly--great fun! Overall, thanks for such an amazing first experience on your Zerve event.

Yet again, a great trip. Never fails to be great night!

Boomerang is a ton of fun. This was my 2nd visit and we were on a bus with a group of girls celebrating a birthday and another group of girls celebrating a Bachelorette party. Went to 3 locations. Shadowroom, another lounge and Lotus. Lotus sucks but that's okay. Being on the bus is a ton of fun and the first 2 stops were fun too. You save a lot of money by not paying for cover at the venues, not paying for transportation and getting drink specials at each location. You probably save about 50% by going on the bus.

If you want to mix it up in the city and not just meet up at a bar with some friends, do this. It doesn't matter where the bus takes you, just matters that all your friends are on the bus and so is the unlimited booze you bring!

The boomerang bus was so much fun and definitely worth my money. Cabbing from bar to bar would've been crazy expensive so it was nice to have a DD that was not only cheaper, but so much fun. Being on the bus was like a party in itself- everyone's so hyped and it's awesome how you can BYOB on the bus. I would definitely recommend it/go on it again!

Want to go tubing with a big group of your friends but don't want to collect money, send out an email with all the logistics, determine a meeting spot, determine designated drivers, and pick a tubing company? Then go with Boomerang! Boomerang Tours truly took care of every detail. We basically just had to SHOW UP, with beer and cash. (Easy!) They even made it super easy to book a bunch of people as one group, without one person having to collect everyone's money up front (and then risk getting screwed when friends back out, fail to pay, etc.) I would highly recommend Boomerang Tours to anyone looking to have a good time. I can't wait to book through Zerve again.

Our guide was great, the weather worked out perfectly, all in all it was a great trip. The only suggestion I would make is selecting a different tubing outfitter, the river is a little too shallow at Front Royal. Before discovering boomerang my group used to go to Shenandoah River Outfitters. The section of the river they use is much deeper and has what they refer to as a pool. The river widens and the depth increases to 30+ feet where people can take a break and swim around with risking hitting a rock. Thanks for another great trip. Best, Colm
