At first I was a little skeptical about the boomerang tour of the area wineries, but am completely sold and looking forward to another in the future! The guide was amazing and the people who joined my friends and I on the tour were hilarious and all-around great people. The host wineries were informative and very helpful with questions and seemed to really enjoy what they did which made the experience that much more interesting. I think only touring two wineries was perfect because it allowed us to really sit back and enjoy the wine tasting! Kudos!

Best Birthday I'll Never Remember Boomerang Nightlife Party Bus Tour of DC

Got a group of 8 friends to go on the partybus and celebrate my 23rd birthday. We party very, very hard so we have higher standards than most. When most people are calling it a night, we're at the bar ordering a line of shots. We close down bars like it's our job and carry sunglasses for when the house lights come on (okay that last part was a joke but we are used to seeing the house lights come on and the sun rise). I must say...the partybus did not disappoint. Check-in took all of 2 minutes and our cute hostess always made sure we were all on the bus before moving to our next location. We had about an hour at each bar. First stop was McFadden's, which I am personally not a fan of but I tolerated it by drinking continuously until I was able to mute out the crappy music and ugly girls dancing on the bar (yes, even after heavy drinking the girls there are still ugly). Next stop was Ultrabar, which is my favorite place in DC. We didn't have to pay the $20 cover and got to skip the really, really long wait and go right on inside. The time flew by way too quickly in there. One hour is simply not enough time to enjoy all four floors of that place. Last stop was Garret's or some place I've never heard of, which was incredibly lame and empty. However by that point I was so intoxicated it wasn't that big of a deal, but you'd think the last place you'd go to would be the best. Maybe Ultrabar should have been our final destination? On the party bus itself was alright. They have good loud music and a couple of poles or "stability bars" to dance on, and you can bring drinks from home on board as long as they're not in glass containers. We brought jello shots and cans of beer and had a good time. My one complaint is that the bus has no AC and with 20-30 people dancing pretty close in 70-something-degree weather, everyone got hot and sweaty pretty quickly. Overall a very enjoyable experience. I know they vary up the bars they go to each weekend, so hopefully McFadden's and Garret's isn't a destination every time. Ultrabar should definitely be one, though. I would definitely recommend this if you're looking to hit up several bars in one night. You don't have to worry about transportation, and you don't have to wait to get in to any bar!

Best Friday Night in a LONG time...and I go out every weekend. Was awesome! For a small cost you get a ride around the city and enter some fun establishments without waiting in line and get discount drinks. The host Nikki, was very entertaining and her smile was contagious. There were 3 groups on this bus and everyone got along well and had a great time together. I have already recommended this bus to friends and hope to take it again soon for my bday.

I had a great time while actually on the bus! The driver and hosts were courtieous and fun. Unfortunately I didn't care for any of the bars that we went to. All the clubs were younger 20's crowds...it would have been fun to get into some real clubs (The Park, Town, The Local etc.)

The Boomerang Bus was a great time even though I only made it half way through the trip. That in itself should prove that it is a great time. Anyway, my two friends and I got to the first bar, which was not hard to find, and signed up for the evening with our enthusiastic party planner. At 930 we loaded the two buses and headed out into the city. Immidiatly the bus was fun! We brought beer on the bus and music was playing for us to dance to and party. They unloaded us at the first bar where we walked right in and started drinking because of the VIP status. After a while we left there and headed to Ultrabar where again we got in for free and were treated excellent. After that I couldn't go on and left the Boomerang Bus to hopefully return sometime again in the future.

The Boomerang Bus was a lot of fun and well worth the money. You get so messed up that by the second bar, you forget what time you're supposed to meet outside. Our host, Dave, was very cool, though he should probably ease off the alcohol just a little bit. The dude was crazy!

The bus has a good choice of bars to visit in the area. I only wish the attendees had more choice in which bars we were able to visit. It would be great if we could at least choose 1 of the 3 bars and if we could get the itinerary a few days before the event.
