Boomerang Tours

The out and back cruise was nice for a mid afternoon event, but overall it was kind of lame. Expensive drinks ($5 beer) and upper deck which was quickly at capacity; I never even got to go up there. Also, ladies, getting out of the boat is a little revealing if you're in a short dress / skirt. There is no ramp or stair case, you basically climb up to the dock from the boat (I'm 6'2" and I think it's to much to climb). Overall, a good way to start or finish your day plans, but don't expect it to WOW you.

I had fun wine tasting with Boomerang, but there were a few things that I would like to see change. The first is that the company sent an email the day before saying that everyone needed to bring an additional $25 cash for the wine tasting. This is deceiving as I was under the impression that $37 was the total that we would be paying. I understand that the cost is what it is, but the website should have mentioned that to customers so that they would see it coming. The first winery was my favorite. They were friendly and flexible. The second winery rushed us through the tasting, which contradicts the no getting intoxicated rule. My friend and I tried to order food during the tasting in which we were told that we could not, because the food would contaminate the wine on the level below us. Yet, the people sitting across from us ordered food and it was brought to them, even though when I asked the hostess about it she said that they were instructed not to order food. It didn't make sense. They told us that we could order food on the order sheet that was given at the end of the tasting and we would receive it downstairs. When we got downstairs, our order had not been submitted. Overall, the first winery was great, the second one, not so much.

Would def recommend! Went to celebrate a birthday, and had a blast! If you like fun, then you will like this!

The staff made this event. It was a birthday party and we enjoyed hanging with each other and the staff. We wish we could get a few more people on the boat at a time though.

Tattoo and Shadow Room were good choices. Our group of 15 did not enjoy Dirty Bar very much. Would not go on Boomerang again if Dirty Bar was one of the stops.

The best time I had on a Friday night in a long time. My group of friends and I partied so hard that we couldn't move the next day, lol. We got together for my 31st birthday celebration and it was good times all around. We never had to wait in line and the bus was always where it was suppose to be except at the meeting place it was a little late but it was well worth the wait. I recommend for anyone that want to have a great time and have an open mind about it. And our host was great. I really wish I could remember his name but I can't, which means I had a really great time, lmbo.

I had an amazing time. The captain and crew were all very courteous and engaging!!!! The DJ was great too. I would def go again. It was only 3 hours which sucked because i was having so much fun i forgot time was limited!! Get a good group of friends and GO!!

Great Ride, Great Music, Great Drinks, Great People

I believe this was my group's 4th year (possibly 3rd). We will definitely being going again next year. Thanks for the good times.

The staff was really nice, the drinks were great and the DJ was awesome to dance to. I'd definitely recommend this!

Where to begin.. The ride started out very relaxed. The tour guide checked everyone in expeditiously and made them feel comfortable over mimosas while getting people to get acquainted. The first winery was definately nicer than the second and the people were very nice, great wine! The wine was good at the second place but the people were not nearly as welcoming nor forthcoming with information and it seemed a little disorganized. I think they should have done everyone either in one group at the same time and waiting for everyone to finish before dealing te second sample. Some people may have been poured a bit fast and it showed in some people. Lots of dancing and passing out on the ride in. Great time, fun day, boomerang bus all the way!!!

Nikki and her crew are a great way to spend a night in Washington DC. They know the areas and have good relationships with the bars so there are always specials. I highly recomend using the bus for any special events.

I had a great time on the boomerang bus. I wouldve liked to have known what bars we were going to ahead a time, but no other complaints.
