Chris Rossetti created Boston Heritage Tours Inc. to promote and preserve the history, heritage and culture of Boston’s unique and eclectic neighborhoods. This three hour guided walking tour is a relaxing and enjoyable way to discover hidden histories of the North End.
Chris lives in the North End and has an affinity for the “Old World Italian Village". In 2007, he completed a four month study researching his Italian heritage. Chris's great, great grandparents came to this country in 1892 with thousands of other Italian immigrants seeking a chance for economic opportunity.
They left their home, near Naples, in a small village named Caiazzo, in the province of Caserta, in the southern Italian region of Campania.
Chris started the cultural heritage tours in the North End not only because he lives there, but because growing up in an Italian American home, he sees the three similarities in the North End that were installed in him as child; family, respect and tradition.
