I enjoyed the walk along the Freedom Trail in Boston, and felt that the tour hit a good number of interesting and historically significant sites. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The tour wasn't too long or too short. He also provided some comments/recommendations for a couple of new stores/restaurants, so it was relevant to the present state of Boston as well. We actually went to a burrito fusion place for lunch that he had pointed out, and it was delicious!

We were a group of Preservation student, looking to learn about some of the architecture of Boston. Allen, our tour guide, was able to give us that and more! He had some great stories about the buildings and the people who lived there.

A good way of passing an hour or so on a cold Boston evening, taking you many points which even a careful reading of the guidebook would pass by.

The guide for this tour was extremely knowledgeable, flexible, and humourous; we learned so much and he was very inclusive of the 8 or 9 people on the tour. It was the first thing we did and we foudn ourselves referring back to things he had said or shown us during the rest of the visit. He was a wonderful story teller...we'd love to have him guiding us again! Thanks!

Our family group ranged in age from 10 to 75. Everyone enjoyed the tour. Our guide was knowledgable , interesting, humorous. He was able to answer all our questions and had lots of interesting "back stories". It was a great way to appreciate the history of the Boston area.

Myself and 2 friends had a Sunday afternoon tour with Alan and really enjoyed the tour. Alan was very friendly and a great storyteller. The 70 minute tour is just long enough for you to get a sense of the history, while not being overly-long. I would highly recommend the tour if you have no sense of the history of downtown Boston -- the Granary burial ground was especially impressive!

I am a teacher of Social Studies who is familiar with Boston and the events that took place there that are signifcant to our nation's history. Yet I learned so much on the tour. Nuances of history are so enjoyable and remembered. My thirteen year old "suffered through" without a complaint. It was a gem of an experience. Thanks Francine and Joe. Alice Conroy
