Was a very informative and wonderful tour. Really enjoyed walking instead of doing a tour via bus or vechile.

Compact tour to look around Boston from a part of very historical to contemporary places. Tour guide we had was very gentle and with enough knowledge to explain and answer to questions. Recommended to people who stay short time but want to see Boston as much as possible.

I booked this tour before coming to Boston. I also did the Cambridge walking tour. Both were wonderful! Our guide was kind, well spoken and very knowledgable. I highly recommend this tour.

We had a small group (5 folks) on our tour, while the other tours (the costume people) that we saw were crosded and had 25-35 people. Our guide was very knowledgeable, just enough fun, full of information, could answer all questions, and we went 20 minutes longer than advertised (good value). It was more that just a history tour, and also included a bigger view of Boston and culture. Well worth it, and our guide Alan was great....if his name was Joe Boston, it would fit. Excellent tour! highly recommended......

We had a great tour with Alan. He was very knowledgeable but not Overly Scholastic. We felt like a local friend was telling us about his town and its history rather than being lectured to. We went on the 2 hour walk and it was just the right amount of time to make us feel comfortable in the city. I will definitely recommend it to friends who travel.

Experienced leader with good communication skills. Tour might have covered too much ground for just 2 hours. That is, probably could have spent more time at each stop.

Really enjoyed an learned a lot. Our guide's enthusiasm was infectious and his tongue-in-cheek style made it very entertaining.

This walk made it very easy to understand the overall geography and historic layout of Boston. Our guide was quite knowledgeable and entertaining. He also was very good at pacing the walk to accommodate the different ages and abilities of the walkers.

Informative and well presented even though the temperature was in the single digits! But we got a private tour because of that. Whoa!

Very good tour at all. We were late and the guide waited for us. The two hours were perfect for the tour, we asked a lot of questions and got a lot of answers. Tour guide was very friendly.

We actually had the guide to ourselves, possibly as it was New Years day. Alan was great, knowledgeable, funny and kept us informed and interested throughout the whole tour. We saw several historic sites, and Alan filled us in with the history of these sites and was happy to answer any questions we had. This was value for money and I would extend our thanks to Alan for giving us a historic tour, both verbally and physically.

Only six people on our walk but it was slow. We didn't cover a great deal in the time we had.

The beat way to see a city is by foot and this was a great way to do that! The tour guide was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and energetic. Recommended for those wanting to explore different parts of the city.
