| The day started pretty rainy, but as soon as we (two girls) came to Brooklyn on the subway, it all cleared up. We'd had this trip highly recommended, so we were very excited to experience this tour in Brooklyn with a local guide. And indeed, we had full value for our money! It was all the more a personal experience as we had our great guide to ourselves. His enthusiasm in telling us the local history of Park Slope, the Williamsburg bank, Prospect Park, etc was great - a contrast to the more hectic experience of midtown and downtown Manhattan.
Good luck with creating this tour!! |

| My brother and I went on this tour, because it had been recommended to us by a good friend. We had never visited Brooklyn before, but had high expectations, which were met fully. Rick met us at 10am with a bottle of water, a big smile, and great enthusiasm. He showed us around the major areas of Brooklyn and demonstrated extensive knowledge of its architecture, history, and culture. We had so much fun and think this tour was definitely the best thing we did during our stay in New York City. Rick was also very helpful with suggestions for other enjoyable activities in the area. Booking our tickets online through Zerve was very convenient. |

| The Brooklyn walking guided tour that I attended was an absolute success. I can recommend this tour as for it's way it gave me an impression of this part of New York.
Richard demonstrated a thorough knowledge of practicaly every house or building we passed. He is a great storyteller. And he knows his way around on architecture and on people that lived there in the past. He gained his experience on a very practical base: having lived in the neighbourhood all his life.
Walking through the streets was combined with walking through the park. Even a very Brooklyn like thing to do as pizza eating was comprised.
An absolute recommendation !! |

| Very enjoyable walking tour of the Park Slope region of Brooklyn. The tour guide, Rick, was a local and very knowledgeable in the history of the area. It was definitely the best $30 I have spent in New York in a long time. Trip is capped off by a good slice of Brooklyn pizza! |

| Since none of us had ever been to Brooklyn, we found this a wonderful way to have a "taste" of the borough. We thoroughly enjoyed the information on the architect of the buildings as well as the personal additions from Rick. The slice of pizza at the end was a fine treat as we have heard that brooklyn is known for it's top notch pizza !!! |

| We freqently visit New York, and had read that Brooklyn had a lot to offer, but had never ventured over the bridge. We greatly enjoyed all of the facts provided by Rick, the comprehensive tour, as well as his own personal recollections of growing up in Brooklyn. We definitely felt as if we were seeing the place through the eyes of someone who knows every nook and cranny and who has a deep love for Brooklyn and had a great time on the tour. In fact, the time went so fast that we could have gone on for a few more hours! Everyone in our group would enthusiastically recommend the tour to others. |

| It was a beautiful fall day and as it turned out my wife and I were the tour group for the day. Big Rick knows his stuff. The tour time was jam packed with information and even better, personal insight...things only a native of the area would ever know. Besides being a great story teller with a wonderful sense of humor, Rick has done his homework and shares detailed architectural, cultural, social, and general sight seeing information in an entertaining way. Park Slope is fascinating...do yourself a favor...do this tour. This is what all tours should be like. |

| We enjoyed seeing and learning about Park Slope and Brooklyn and were amazed at the knowledge and pride demonstrated by Rick. Rick was gregarious and friendly.
We would happily do another tour with Rick any time. |
