| The tour was made more interesting since the tour guide not only knew his Brooklyn history, interesting facts regarding the architecture and history of the buildings on the tour, but also included interesting vignets about growing up and living in Brooklyn.
A really nice way to get to know more about Brooklyn! |

| Kevin is a character who knows a tremendous amount about Brooklyn and Park Slope. In particular he has detailed knowledge of architectural features of this great neighborhood and that was what I was most interested in. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn and check out more about Brooklyn. |

| I completed reading A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, by Betty Smith, two weeks before my husband and I travelled from Philadelphia to Brooklyn. This tour was delightfully informative -- mostly because Big Rick was a marvelous, fascininating, spellbinding storyteller. Born and raised in Brooklyn, he knows the city intimately. He focused on architecture and history, and he infused humor, as well. What a worthwhile walking tour, complete with water and pizza. I recommend it to out-of-towners, and I wished I'd brought my students! |

| My husband and I are Northeasterners (NY & NJ), my husband was acually born in Brooklyn but neither of us had ever spent time there. When I came across Rick's tour description, the first thing I liked about it was "a slice of pizza included"!!! Everyone knows the best pizza in the world comes from Brooklyn,so what could I do but sign up?! As it turned out, while the pizza was, indeed, the tastiest I've ever had, it paled next to experiencing Rick's absolutely CRAZY amount of knowledge about the neighborhoods and their histories, the amazing architecture and the people and places that were a part of his growing up in the area...Rick is so personable and so enthusiastic about the places we went that the 3 hours could easily be doubled and still he'd have things to show and places to visit...We'll definitely recommend this to anyone looking for something different, off the beaten path, and even educational! Thanks, Rick!! |

| The timing was great. I had never heard of Prospect Park until the tour - and then read about the tribute to Michael Jackson on his birthday - in Prospect Park!!
And the personal info about growing up in Brooklyn was "priceless."
I highly recommend it. |

| My daughter and I had spent time in Manhattan on various visits but hadn't yet ventured over to Brooklyn until this tour. Rick knows the borough like the back of his hand and has lots of history to share. We loved the list of famous Brooklynites that he gave us. By the end of the 3 hours, he seemed like an old friend; it was fun seeing him run into lots of HIS friends in the area, too! Feet and stomachs enjoyed the pizza stop! Walking back to Manhattan over the Brooklyn Bridge was a great end to a fun afternoon!

| Big Rick pointed out interesting landmarks, architectural features and historical perspectives of Brooklyn. Our family of five, three teen boys and two parents, all found it held our interest. We loved the pizza lunch and recommendations for water ice. Rick, we were able to enter the "Magic Johnson apartment building" former bank building and walk through the lobby. It was magnificent. Thanks for the fun tour! |

| Focuses on the Park Slope section of Brooklyn. Rick, the tour guide, grew up and lives in the neighborhood. In addition to the usual history and architectural highlights, he fills in with stories of growing up and describes how the neighborhood has changed over time. Most walking tours seem to run about $10 per hour, so at $30 for 3 hours with water and pizza thrown in, this is a good value for anyone who wants to see some of NYC outside Manhattan. |
