| We freqently visit New York, and had read that Brooklyn had a lot to offer, but had never ventured over the bridge. We greatly enjoyed all of the facts provided by Rick, the comprehensive tour, as well as his own personal recollections of growing up in Brooklyn. We definitely felt as if we were seeing the place through the eyes of someone who knows every nook and cranny and who has a deep love for Brooklyn and had a great time on the tour. In fact, the time went so fast that we could have gone on for a few more hours! Everyone in our group would enthusiastically recommend the tour to others. |

| I completed reading A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, by Betty Smith, two weeks before my husband and I travelled from Philadelphia to Brooklyn. This tour was delightfully informative -- mostly because Big Rick was a marvelous, fascininating, spellbinding storyteller. Born and raised in Brooklyn, he knows the city intimately. He focused on architecture and history, and he infused humor, as well. What a worthwhile walking tour, complete with water and pizza. I recommend it to out-of-towners, and I wished I'd brought my students! |

| We had a great time learning about and seeing Brooklyn. Our guide, Rick, was very imformative and was able to answer in detail any question that was asked. I have a new understanding of the old and new Brooklyn and greatly appreciate the time and effort Rick puts into his tour! Thanks so much! |

| My friends and I really enjoyed our few hours we spent with Rick walking through Park Slope. He is passionate about Brooklyn; his combination of personal stories and historical facts makes for a very interesting tour.
We were a small group, he was personal and accommodating to any of our requests. He was also funny which made the time fly by. The pizza at the end of the tour makes you feel like you have had a little taste of Brooklyn and would want to come back again on future trips.
Overall we all enjoyed our morning and would highly recomend it. |

| my daughter and I met Rick right at 1:15 and had a great time with him on the tour. Even though it was about 90 degrees, we laughed a lot and saw some beautiful homes. Rick was very informative and it is obvious he loves his town. He is definitely the real deal. |

| I was entralled with this tour from beginning to end. A history lesson on Brooklyn, and the many architectural gems in the area. Also Rick the tour guide is awesome. Since he has grown up in the area, and still resides there. He had many of a story to tell. It brought so much more to the tour. Since my return to Boston, I still can't stop talking about it. And would recommend to everybody. |

| The tour takes you through a the neighborhood of Park Slope and the guide explains the history of the neighborhood and how much it has changed over the last century. It's hard to believe that a neighborhood full of boutiques and cafes was derelict and blighted a few decades ago. The guide stops along the way to talk to friends and passersby, which makes you feel like you're part of the neighborhood.
I recommend it to anyone interested in Brooklyn. |

| After yearly trips to Manhattan for more than two decades, we decided it was time to cross the bridge. Rick provided us with an authentic view of his lifelong neighborhood. From history to culture to architecture we were immersed in a fun and informative walk. The legendary brownstones are lovely, the churches and former mansions magnificent. We learned of Revolutionary battles, Olmsted's "other" park, the ethnic diversity through the years, urban gardens and more all sprinkled with anecdotes only this real Brooklynite could provide. Rick customized our tour to our interests and left us wanting to return. And don't forget the pizza! |

| I'm a long-time NYC resident (residing in Brooklyn for many years) and found plenty of stuff on Rick's tour that was new and exciting. I think this is a great way to spend a few hours, whether you're a local or here visiting for the first time.
If my observations are an accurate gauge, I'd imagine that the majority of tourists spend litte, if any, time in the outer bouroughs. Too bad because they're missing out on an an integral part of what makes NY the world class city that it is.
This tour gets you out of Manhattan, away from the most obvious tourist traps, and provides an opportunity to explore a wonderful Brooklyn neighborhood. |
