| "A Tour Grows in Brooklyn" is not to be missed. I learned more from "Big Rick" about Brooklyn and the Park Slope area than any guidebook. The history, the best places to eat, the architecture and famous Brooklynites were all covered and topped off with a slice of pizza at the end - can't say fairer than that! |

| The guide is very charming, enthusiastic, and amusing. His personal perspective is what sets this tour apart. It's an enjoyable introduction to the area. However, if you have a keen interest in history or architecture, this might not be the tour for you (although the guide offers plenty of names and dates). Those seeking a fun survey won't be disappointed. |

| Our tour guide had a great knowledge of alot of the architectural design on the many homes/brownstones. He was a local of the Brooklyn area and knew the area very well. A very funny man! Would greatly recommend this walking tour! |

| We are from NY & NJ and took my mom for her 60th birthday. Rick was knowledgable, passionate and enthusiastic about the sites of Park Slope. His commentary was very interesting- historical, architectural and anecdotal. The pizza at the end was delicious! A fun time and would do it again in a heartbeat! |

| This tour was a lot of fun. The guide is a real local character and very knowledgable about the architecture and history of the neighborhood. The slice of pizza at the end was a great way to finish the tour. |

| The tour guide was charming- very much a real brooklynite. I enjoyed most his comparisions of park slope in his childhood and youth to today. The local history of a real life that had spanned some time in the neighborhood was the best part- to imagine the changes was fascinating. The architectural details that were pointed out were nteresting but I would have liked more hostorical context as to why those details may have been in vogue at the time- and a better understanding of who first lived in park slope and why they moved here. Maybe more statistics too about the park slope of today.
The tour guide, Rick, was very enjoyable and personable and took good care of the group during the tour. We enjoyed the tour. |

| This was one of the most interesting and enjoyable tours of New York we have been on. We have been to Brooklyn a couple of times, but have always done tours in Manhattan. Rick does a great job. He knows the area very well, made recommendations about other places to go, and thoroughly answered all our questions. We would highly recommend this tour to others who want to see Brooklyn. |

| Rick knows lots about the neighborhood, and tales of his youth brought the tour to life. Rick is very knowledgable about the late 19th century mansions on the surrounding streets and pointed out interesting architectural details and tidbits about the people who used to live in the homes in the 1890s and thereabouts. An engaging personality, Rick made the tour fun, and for those interested in Brooklyn, yesterday and today, this is a must tour. |
