| Rick was a knowledgable tour guide who kept us laughing throughout the tour. Although the tour is 3 hours long, it never felt too long nor too rushed; Rick was always willing to answer any question we had. My parents were in from out of town and it was a good way to begin their stay and also gave me and my wife information about the neighborhood we have lived in for a couple of years that we would probably never have known. |

| Myself (52), my husband (53) and our daughter (19) attended this tour and we really enjoyed it. Rick, our guide, grew up in the neighbourhood and still retains great affection for and pride in his Brooklyn roots. He was able to tell us many entertaining stories of the development of the neighbourhood.
We covered lots of ground at a comfortable pace, and saw the beautiful residential areas of Park Slope. Rick pointed out many social and architectural details that we never would have known otherwise. We saw Prospect Park, and many fascinating public buildings.
We finished with a slice of tasty pizza and continued to wander around the lovely streets of restaurants and boutiques after the tour finished. We ate at a restaurant Rick recommended and the food was delicious.
We then made our way to the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge and walked back into Manhattan, a pleasant half hour walk.
We had a great, informative and fun time with Rick and highly recommend this tour.

| I took the Brooklyn Walking Tour when staying there last week. The guide Rick was
extremely knowledgeable about the area having lived there all his life so it was
very interesting and enjoyable as it was more personalised. The pace was relaxed with plenty of stops to look at and talk about different aspects of the area. The various types of architecture of the buildings and houses was fascinating especially when attention was drawn to points you'd never have noticed yourself. This is a
much to be recommended tour with a difference with a great guide with a great personality who really looks after his customers. Highly recommended. |

| A group of us went on Ric's Brooklyn Tour, A Tour Grows in Brooklyn, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Ric was knowledgeable and pleasant and full of information about what we were seeing. It was a treat to be introduced to this neighborhood by a 'home boy'! |

| As soon as we met our tour guide, Rick Kadlub, we knew that this tour was going to be fun.
The enthusiasum and love that Rick displayed for his neighborhood of Brooklyn would have been great alone. Rick also shared a wealth of knowledge that we have not been lucy enough to experience on other tours of various regions of New York City. My group has an interest in architecture; an area that Rick masters.
It should be noted that beyond Rick's love for his home, his Grandmother (we enjoyed the stories he shared with us) and people in general, he is also a gentleman.
Mr. Kadlub will soon be conducting tours of Brooklyn's Green-Wood Cemetery. Our group was fortunate to get a preview of that tour with Rick. We will be booking this tour on our next visit. This tour is sure to satisfy those with interests in architecture and history.
I have been coming to NY with groups of friends for the last few years. We always schedule at least two tours for our three day trips. Some of the tours have been AWFUL-never want to do that again and would not recommend it to anyone, OKAY-but not likely to do it again, someone else may enjoy it, GOOD-kept our interest and would recommend to others, GREAT-want to share this experience with everyone we know and would enjoy again.
Of course "A Tour Grows In Brooklyn" is filed under GREAT.
Thank you Mr. Kadlub! |

| Rick provides a unique opportunity to take a tour led by someone who not only has a lot of "book" knowledge of the area, but also brings a lot of personal knowledge, as he was born and raised right in the neighborhood. The personal stories that Rick adds to the tour gives an unexpected exclamation point to an already great tour. Rick loves what he does, and that makes for a most enjoyable tour. Anyone who enjoys walking tours through neighborhoods and learning about history, architecture, and sociology will certainly enjoy this tour. Thanks, Rick! I had a great time! |

| The tour was wonderful! Rick was very informative and enjoyable. He grew up and still lives in Brooklyn so he knew who, what, and where about Brooklyn. He knew about the history and architecture. He showed interesting architecture on the Brownstones all around Brooklyn. He knew local gossip about actors in the 1940-70's. He knew where to eat. |

| The timing was great. I had never heard of Prospect Park until the tour - and then read about the tribute to Michael Jackson on his birthday - in Prospect Park!!
And the personal info about growing up in Brooklyn was "priceless."
I highly recommend it. |

| Without a doubt the most prepared tour I have been on since moving to New York City 6 months. I could not have asked for a more knowledgeable guide or enthaustic on his subject. Brooklyn appeared to me before the tour as some where over one of the several bridges. But now I see and appreciate this special section called Park Slope. And the highlight official Brooklyn pie(pizza) what a treat. The next time I have vistors this is on the schedule. Great time. |

| This tour provides more than just the dates, facts, etc. It also provides real memories of the neighborhood, and a more personal overview of how Brooklyn has changed during the previous decades. Finally...a tour with a personality. |
