| "A Tour Grows in Brooklyn" is not to be missed. I learned more from "Big Rick" about Brooklyn and the Park Slope area than any guidebook. The history, the best places to eat, the architecture and famous Brooklynites were all covered and topped off with a slice of pizza at the end - can't say fairer than that! |

| It was an overcast day; but, Rick certainly brightened our experience! He knows the neighborhood in which he grew up, and his stories were really good. We took the morning tour of Park Slope including Prospect Park; stopped for pizza in Brooklyn; then, on our own, we headed to Coney Island for a hot dog at Nathan's. Rick even told us how to order the Nathan's french fries in a bag with salt. If you like to walk in the upscale Park Slope neighborhood, don't miss Rick's tour! He knows the place. |

| The guide is very charming, enthusiastic, and amusing. His personal perspective is what sets this tour apart. It's an enjoyable introduction to the area. However, if you have a keen interest in history or architecture, this might not be the tour for you (although the guide offers plenty of names and dates). Those seeking a fun survey won't be disappointed. |

| Our tour guide had a great knowledge of alot of the architectural design on the many homes/brownstones. He was a local of the Brooklyn area and knew the area very well. A very funny man! Would greatly recommend this walking tour! |

| We are from NY & NJ and took my mom for her 60th birthday. Rick was knowledgable, passionate and enthusiastic about the sites of Park Slope. His commentary was very interesting- historical, architectural and anecdotal. The pizza at the end was delicious! A fun time and would do it again in a heartbeat! |

| This is a most interesting tour of Brooklyn's parkslope area. The guide "Big Rick" goes over details about the many points around the area. He notes the architectural uniqueness of the some of the structures and provides the historical backgrounds coupled with his personal historical experiences in the area. I found his information delivery to be very enthusiastic and knowlegeable. Also found the many boutiques, shops on the avenues to be points of interest as well.
After the tour, you learn abit more about this area's past and possible future trends. Definitely a worthwhile visit to be included in you trip to NYC. |

| We enjoyed Rick's tour very much. He is a Brooklyn native and has a great perspective on his neighborhood. He is familiar with the architecture of Brooklyn and pointed out many interesting homes and buildings on the tour. We covered a lot of ground, so wear your walking shoes. Rick provides a bottle of water to begin the tour and a slice of pizza to end the day. Nice touch! |
