| After yearly trips to Manhattan for more than two decades, we decided it was time to cross the bridge. Rick provided us with an authentic view of his lifelong neighborhood. From history to culture to architecture we were immersed in a fun and informative walk. The legendary brownstones are lovely, the churches and former mansions magnificent. We learned of Revolutionary battles, Olmsted's "other" park, the ethnic diversity through the years, urban gardens and more all sprinkled with anecdotes only this real Brooklynite could provide. Rick customized our tour to our interests and left us wanting to return. And don't forget the pizza! |

| My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed Big Rick's walking tour through neighborhoods that were filled with wonderful architecture. Rick identified Romansque, Queen Ann and Victorian detail along with specialities like Eggs and Dart designs and original Tiffany stained windows.
We also enjoyed listening to Rick's boyhood stories describing how it was in his younger days in Brooklyn .
This tour was definitely worthwhile and extremely enjoyable to all in the group. |

| Some friends and I took this tour one year ago and it was great fun. So much so, that we brought back another friend, who was born in Brooklyn. As usual, Rich was terrific; knowledgeable, helpful and passionate about his hometown. If you want something that makes three hours feel like three minutes, then this is the tour for you. Bravo Rich! Can't wait to see what else you some up with!

| I have been on many, many tours through the years and this one definitely tops the list. Tour guide is born and raised in Brooklyn, has seen with his own eyes many changes through the years, and is very well versed on the history of individual homes and historic sites. He knows personally much of what has happened in Brooklyn because he was part of it. He has personality and enthusiasm to spare and obviously cares about this area. |

| Rick is a great guide. A local who grew up in Brooklyn and has in depth knowledge of his city and its history. I loved the old architecture and the stories of its early residents. The pizza at the end of the tour was a nice touch. Starting point was easy to reach by subway. There is more to New York than Manhattan. |

| Loved this tour - what a surprise - Brooklyn is gorgeous, funky, and fun ! Rick, the tour operator and guide, is incredibly knowledgeable, (seems like there's nothing he doesn't know about Brooklyn) affable, flexible, funny, and fun. We had two generations in the group and everyone had a great time. Prospect Park seemed particularly lovely in Spring., with everything in bloom. Imagine it's also gorgeous in the Autumn. Lots of good stuff to eat in Brooklyn, too, including complimentary slice of pizza pie! |

| Big Rick is a very proud member of his community. He gave us a good sense of the history of the Park Slope area. We enjoyed the tour. It would enhance tour if Rick added visit to inside of some buildings - or even a few stops at shops we passed on the avenues. Some hints on places to eat if we come back to the area would be great - might be nice to add a stop in the library as part of tour. |
