| Big Rick is equal parts storyteller, historian, architecture maven, and street-corner philosopher. The tour was just a blast -- we learned a lot and had a wonderful time. It was a highlight of my trip to New York and I would urge anybody who loves history and architecture (not to mention pizza and interesting characters!) to give it a go! |

| Big Rick and his Tour Grows In Brooklyn walking tour is highly recommended by both my traveling companion and myself. When we went on the tour we were the only two people, which was terrific and personal. Rick is a very personable man with a great deal of knowledge of his old neighborhood. Not only do you find yourself looking at amazing architecture and the glory of a bygone era, you get first hand information about the history of Brooklyn - where he and his family lived for generations, and the transformation of the area. Rick also points out architectural elements that one wouldn't find on the first or the second visit to a building or neighborhood - since he is such a seasoned veteran. I highly recommend this tour not only for what he can show you, but also for the personal knowledge he provides...oh and the pizza! |

| You will be hard pressed to find someone more enthusiastic and passionate about Brooklyn than "Big Rick". By the end of the tour I almost wanted to live there. Great tour and if you go to Brooklyn as a tourist and you do not take this tour then you will be missing out on an opportunity. Thanks Rick, Steven and Tina. |

| My husband, my adult son and myself did the tour and it was one of the highlights of our weekend in NYC. The best part of the tour was the opportunity to see things that we would not have if we would have come into Brooklyn ourselves. Big Rick is excellent at what he does. We went on to spend a few more hours in Brooklyn that day and returned after Bike NY on Sunday for dinner. The tour ntroduced us to a new world to explore. |

| My husband and I found this walking tour to be excellent. It was our first time in Brooklyn, and Rick was a gracious, enthusiastic host. He pointed out a lot of details and explained the history of the area and made it really fun. He encouraged stopping for photos (and I did take a lot of photos!), and he was able to answer all of our questions. It was great to hear about some of the "behind the scenes" information that Rick was able to tell us about since he's lived in the area all of his life. You can tell he loves his hometown. If we get to Brooklyn again, we would take this tour again. Rick mentioned that he's developing other tours in the area, so hopefully we'll be able to join him again. Thanks for a really enjoyable afternoon! Kathy |

| Your walking tour is the best! We learned so much, and enjoyed every minute of it. For people our age it could have been a bit shorter. A two hour hike would have sufficed. We will recommend you to any friends going to Brooklyn. Steve and Joan |

| Big Rick guided my friend and me throught the most interesting part in Park Slope.
His knowledge and good humor made this tour special. I would highly recommend it. I hope he will do more tours like this in Brooklyn.
I found it especially nice to finish off at a Pizza Place, gave us a chance to talk.
Well done.

| The day started pretty rainy, but as soon as we (two girls) came to Brooklyn on the subway, it all cleared up. We'd had this trip highly recommended, so we were very excited to experience this tour in Brooklyn with a local guide. And indeed, we had full value for our money! It was all the more a personal experience as we had our great guide to ourselves. His enthusiasm in telling us the local history of Park Slope, the Williamsburg bank, Prospect Park, etc was great - a contrast to the more hectic experience of midtown and downtown Manhattan.
Good luck with creating this tour!! |

| I really enjoyed Rick's tour. I already had extensive knowledge of Manhattan and knew very little about Brooklyn. Rick has lived in Brooklyn his whole life and did a great job explaining how the city has evolved. He explains how the city was first settled to the current neighborhoods of today. |

| Even though we were 15 minutes late, Rick waited for us in the pouring rain. He didn't try to rush us and, in fact, gave us an extra half hour (maybe because we ducked in for cover in a few buildings along the way). He was a great guide, very warm and with an obvious love for his city! |
