| What a great tour! Big Rick puts so much heart into his tours and it shows. He is always pointing out interesting architecture on the tour and telling stories about the old neighborhood. Entertaining, edifying and aerobic. |

Couple on a Date |
| My girlfriend and I went on this tour just for something to do on a Sunday morning. We met the tour guide, Rick, in Park Slope. As soon as we met him, he made us feel comfortable and we knew we were going to enjoy the tour. Rick was extremely knowledgeable about the history and architecture in the area, and he added a lot of personality to the tour. He grew up in the neighborhood and his love for the area shows. As such, you will learn a lot about the neighborhood that only a Brooklyn native could tell you.
My advice is to do the earlier tour so that you can stroll down 5th and 7th ave at your own pace and enjoy the park later in the day. |

| Big Rick offers the best walking tour in New York, and I've been on many. He is a native of Brooklyn and knows much of the real and anecdotal history first hand. What he hasn't lived, he has researched. It is like a stroll through time and the neighborhood with an old friend. Even locals will come to see architectural detail they never before noticed.
You also will benefit from his tips on shopping and restaurants.
This tour is an excellent value, and great exercise. There is a good bit of walking, so bring comfortable shoes. |

| Without a doubt the most prepared tour I have been on since moving to New York City 6 months. I could not have asked for a more knowledgeable guide or enthaustic on his subject. Brooklyn appeared to me before the tour as some where over one of the several bridges. But now I see and appreciate this special section called Park Slope. And the highlight official Brooklyn pie(pizza) what a treat. The next time I have vistors this is on the schedule. Great time. |

| My husband and I have recently moved to New York from London and are keen to get to know the city better. As such we booked ourselves on the Brooklyn Walk.
Well, we were not disappointed. So the tour starts off in the least stunning spot you are likely to see on the walk, but Rick quickly takes you to a more picturesque Brooklyn whilst sprinkling it with great local knowledge (born and breed) and historical facts. The company is fairly new, but the information offered is thorough, amusing and interesting. We were lucky to have Rick to ourselves, but don't be disappointed if you join a bigger group as he has enough chat for everyone. Three hours well spent. |

| I took the 3-hour tour on a cold morning of February. Despite the crisp temperatures, time flew by and l learnt a lof about the history of this neighborhood of Brooklyn. After an architecture walk, we went for a stroll in Prospect park and came back to the shopping/dining area for lunch. The guide, Rick, was very knowledgeable and generous with stories. I shall recommend this tour to my friends and take a new tour soon. |

| This was a fun and informational tour of Brooklyn, featuring many beautiful architectural landmarks and homes, Prospect Park, Grand Army Plaza, and shopping on Brooklyn's "New Fifth Avenue."
Tour guide Rick clearly has a passion and a great deal of knowledge of his native Brooklyn. We had a great three hours on a beautiful winter day, including a stop for some great Brooklyn pizza, included in the tour.
Definitely recommended for something different in New York City! |

| The tour was great. We´re a couple of Aussie friends on a 3 day trip to NY and wanted to see a bit more than Manhattan.
Tour was just the right length, with just the right balance of history and local stories to make it real without being academic. It was lovely to see the area through the eyes of a local.
Pizza slice was delish!!! Just what was needed after 2 hours walking.
Thank you! |

| We are from Argentina and have been many times in NY.
With this tour we learned that NY is much more than Manhattan.
We discovered a beautiful neigborhood full of history, quiet and peace.
Our guide really seemed to know every inch of the area.
We usually travel by ourselves, but we would never have got to see what we saw if we had not taken this tour.
We highly recommend it to everybody that likes to learn and discover something new on every trip. |
