| Recommended for those who don't want an ordinary Gray Line or Double Decker tour in Manhattan. The tour guide is a really great guy. You indeed walk and walk and walk on this tour but don't have to bring your own water bottle. Find out why for yourself. |

| Rick grew up and still lives in the neighbourhood so he was able to explain how everything changed over the years which was very interesting. He knew a lot of the buildings, the ages and details behind and he knows everyone in the neighbourhood. We were even able to walk into one of the great brownstones as it is owned by his friend.
All over the tour is great, very intersting and Rick is a great guide!! We loved it!! |

| Myself (52), my husband (53) and our daughter (19) attended this tour and we really enjoyed it. Rick, our guide, grew up in the neighbourhood and still retains great affection for and pride in his Brooklyn roots. He was able to tell us many entertaining stories of the development of the neighbourhood.
We covered lots of ground at a comfortable pace, and saw the beautiful residential areas of Park Slope. Rick pointed out many social and architectural details that we never would have known otherwise. We saw Prospect Park, and many fascinating public buildings.
We finished with a slice of tasty pizza and continued to wander around the lovely streets of restaurants and boutiques after the tour finished. We ate at a restaurant Rick recommended and the food was delicious.
We then made our way to the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge and walked back into Manhattan, a pleasant half hour walk.
We had a great, informative and fun time with Rick and highly recommend this tour.

| This is a great tour, and reasonably priced. Ric is a great tour guide - proud of his community, knowledgeable about its background, history & architecture.
My only criticism was that there was a bit too much information to take in, though we did thoroughly enjoy ourselves. |

| I have travelled to Manhattan several times but had not had the chance to see Brooklyn prior to this trip. I happended to be the only person booked on this date, and Rick was still very enthusiastic to share his knowledge and stories about the area with me. The three hours flew by and I got to have a fantastic insight to how the area was, and continues to evolve. Highly recommended - and thanks Rick! |

| Rick led us on a very interesting and informative tour of a small part of Brooklyn. It was obvious he loved the area and the people and wanted to share it.
This was a glimpse of what life is -and was - like for the average person in Brooklyn. A must for visitors and locals who want to get beneath the surface glitz and glamour of Manhattan.
We thoroughly enjoyed it! |

| Rick was a totally engaging, knowledgeable tour guide and my parents and I learned a lot about Park Slope and Prospect Park, without being overwhelmed. The best part of the tour is that Rick is from the neighborhood, he knows it's history first hand and he knows the people! My parents are from Germany and I've been a New Yorker for 10 years and we all had a great time. My dad hates walking and he had a blast! I would take anyone that comes to visit NY on this tour and I will recommend it to all the locals!! |
